S.coups' POV

I sat there beside Minghao as I tried comforting him. I tried to make up jokes to cheer him up but his quiet whimpers and cute hiccups kept on distracting me. I looked around the practice room, I must say Minghao did a good job decorating the place. He even picked Junhui's favorite color. On the wall, there was a plain white sheet of paper with the words "I'm sorry, Junnie. Please forgive me <3" ......that was the one thing that made me feel like my heart got crushed. After all the hard work Minghao has been through, that jerk just decides to ditch him. On one of the chairs at the corner, a box wrapped up in silver gift wrap and a shiny blue ribbon sat on top of it..on the side was a little note. "Hey, Minghao...what's that over there?" I asked "hmm?" He answered in between sobs, he looked to were I pointed "o-oh....t-thats a gift for J-Junnie.." He replied. The jerk better be grateful once he hears about this. I sighed and pat Minghao's head softly before pulling hik into a tight hug.

We were in this kind of position for about 30 minutes till we both pulled apart. He stopped crying and wiped his tears "t-thanks Papa....atleast y-you came to the p-party" he said and tried to smile but failed. "Whatever you need, Minghao..ill always be there." I replied. I smiled at him before sighing and looking around the room "well, we better clean up and return to the dorm quick..its late by now."i said and he nodded before helping me to clean up the place.

When we were done, the only thing that was not yet touched was the tray of cupcakes on the table and the gift which was on the chair. "I guess we can eat this cupcakes on the way back to the dorm" he suggested and i chuckled as I heard his stomach growling "now I know why you wanna eat this cupcakes" I teased and he blushed while smiling. I looked over at the gift "well what about that?" I asked and pointed towards the gift, he looked at it and then quickly looked down , he took a minute to reply

"Ill burn it..." He replied

My eyes widened "what?! Why?" I questioned "Junnie doesnt need it. He's got a lot of stuffed animal...why give him one more?" He replied "Minghao...you spent money on buyung that gift and youre just gonna set it on fire?" I asked and he nodded. "Minghao..i know youre angry that Junhui didnt come to the party..but dont just waste the money you spent on gift for him by burning it" i said "i thought you're on my side..."he mumbled..after that i didnt say a word to him and just sighed. "What if Junhui was happy or surprised that you got him a present?" I asked

He replied "Was he happy and surprised when he knew that I threw him a party?"

*next day*

Third Person's POV

All the members woke up and were already having breakfast. S.coups was in the kitchen, his back leaning agaisnt the counter with one of his arms crossed while drinkning coffee. Obviously he was still disappointed on the others for not attending Minghao's party. He even slept on the couch last night to avoid Jeonghan. Seeing S.coups in a bad mood frightened the other members and none of them dared to try and talk to him. Suddebly, the noise from the living room stopped and it became silent, S.coups' curiousity sparked and he rushed outside to the living room, "Minghao, there you are" Hoshi said....."where else would I be?" He asked and Hoshi felt silent. Minghao sat down on the couch with his hands in the pocket of his sweatpants and the hoodie of his jacket was almost covering his eyes.

"Arent you gonna eat?" Mingyu asked, Minghao raised his eyebrows...S.coups sighed quietly, he hoped that the incident that happened yesterday didnt change Minghao's attitude..he'd hate for that to happen. "I was just asking...."Mingyu mumbled and Minghao rolled his eyes.

"Well..Manager Hyung said we have practice today..so better hurry up with your breakfast and get ready" Jeonghan commanded "nae eomma" everyone reolied except Minghao. S.coups looked over at Junhui who was staring at the ground..feeling ashamed of what he did.

After breakfast, Everyone got ready but Minghao wouldnt even move from the couch. "Minghao, arent you gonna come for practice?" Dokyeom asked "does it look like i wanna go for practice?" Minghao snapped at him and Dokyeom felt silent. "What? Youre part of the performance team..why arent you coming for practice?" Hoshi asked "Minghao, come on! Or dont let me get my guitar" woozi warned

"Go ahead..go get your guitar..isnt that the only threat you know how to use on others?" Minghao snapped and everyone felt silent..they were shocked on Minghao's new attitude.
