TigerKit followed behind OakTail as they led him to where he guessed his father was. TigerKit had not been able to see his father too often as he can be quite busy at times. He is still unsure of his identity as well, for the nursery was often dark at sunrise, the usual time he visited, so he could not see very well. All he knew was that he is silver with blue eyes thanks to tails from other warriors who fought beside him.
"He should be in here" OakTail and FeatherMoon where standing eitherside the entrance to what they told him to be the warriors den. TigerKit walked forward until his paws were at the edge of the shadow cast by the bush. Suddenly something hit his backside and he went flying into the den. While regaining his feet he looked back.
"Hey what was that all about!" He complained. OakTail walked into the den smiling.
"What?" He said smirking "you were taking too long!" He exchanged an amused glance with FeatherMoon.
"Hello" a kind voice came from behind TigerKit. He turned around to see his father standing behind him with a warm hearted smile spread across his face. TigerKits eyes widened. His father was a silver-blue cat with a darker stripe down his back, a white muzzle, underbelly, tail tip and ice blue eyes that reminded him of the winter sky.
"H hello!" He mewed excitedly. BlueFang smiled.
"It's nice to see you again! Are you enjoying camp?" He chuckled.
"Yes! FeatherMoon and FoxStar showed me around!" He had to give them some credit. BlueFang looked up.
"I see you have met OakTail as well" he seamed to glare at him in a playful way
"I hope he has been staying out of trouble while looking after you?" He teased.
"You know I can't promise you anything" he replied sticking out his tongue childishly. TigerKit and FeatherMoon laughed at how silly these two warriors were acting. BlueFang turned his gaze back to TigerKit, staring him in the eye. There was a long pause.
"Uh i.. is there something wrong?" He tried to break the awkward silence. As soon as he said that, he noticed his fathers eyes were watering. TigerKit flinched. His father seamed to snap back to reality. He wiped his eyes with one paw.
"Sorry it's just I'm so happy you're enjoying yourself." He nudged TigerKit.
"You should get back to the nursery. It gets freezing in the afternoon and we wouldn't want you getting sick now would we?" TigerKit bowed his head then turned back to the other warriors.
"Bye!" He called. His father smiled then proceeded to curl up and rest in his moss bed. TigerKit walked in front of the two warriors instead of behind them. Seeing his father gave him a new feeling of confidence. Soon enough he reached the nursery and said goodbye to FeatherMoon and OakTail. It had been a long day and he could not wait to spend the rest of it telling RobbinWing about everything that happened.
