hey there delilah,
i know you get worried about me on tour, even if you don’t voice it, so i decided to write to you about my various adventures in the world of ameteur musicianship, and you can write back to me about your adventures in college. it sounds like a good comprimise to me. it will be like having a conversation, except i would actually think about what to say
i’m on my way to meet up with twitch’s band (they’re still looking for a name) at the bp. we’re going to go to san francisco to play in the bay area together-we all thought we could make it there until we could make some more money to get around. i’ve never really been good at handling money, have i, delilah (i remember you paid for our first date, heeheehee. good times, delilah, good times.)? One day i will, though. we’ll have lots and lots of money, and i’ll be able to bathe in it like they do in the cartoons.
delilah, i’m not gonna lie, i’ll miss you. i think in my spare time, i’ll write you a song. it will be beautiful and unorthodox, just like you. but until then, you can look forward to these little nonsense letters.
