That was it, I was in the plane on my way to LA. I wanted to throw up and being alone on this flight didn’t help. Callie’s flight was a day earlier than mine since we didn’t book our flights at the same time because Harry or his ‘people’ were the ones who booked my flight. This morning, my whole family came to say their goodbyes; it was like I was leaving for war. My mother cried and told me to stay safe multiple times. She had a list of things that I should and should not do. If you knew me, you knew I didn’t listen to a word she said. My father hugged me before giving me his credit card. He said under his breath, ‘only for emergency’. The good thing was that since my father gave me half of the money for a plane ticket and that I had money in my bank account, I was literally sitting on a mountain of money. All of this would go to shopping and food. God knows I love food. My little sister cried a little and I promised her that I would come back in one piece. My brother was the simplest; a tap on the shoulder before cracking a joke and it was over. During the flight, I tried to sleep but I couldn’t because the nerves got the best of me. I tried to watch a movie but I couldn’t stay still. I even tried to read a book but I couldn’t because I couldn’t concentrate on what I was reading. I was thanking the good Lord that I wasn’t sitting beside a smelly lady or even the annoying kind of neighbour who slept on your shoulder during the whole flight. Finally it was time for us, to buckle up our seat belts and get ready for landing. The last time I actually got onto a plane was when I was 10 years old and it was for a family vacation. We went to Disneyland; I didn’t have to tell you that I held my mother’s hand during the whole flight.

I took deep breath and closed my eyes. You got this, Liz. It was just a little landing, nothing major. My heart was about to burst out of my chest and I felt like I was going to be sick. I held the handles of my seat so tight that I thought I was going to rip them off. Finally after several minute of panicking and almost peeing my pants, we finally landed in one piece. At this point, I just wanted to kiss the ground. I wasn’t made for flying and that was the understatement of the year. I didn’t even know if Harry or Callie would come pick me up. Maybe it would be Harry’s people too, I didn’t have a clue and to be honest I was freaking out. I could always text Callie to come pick me up if nobody showed up. I got out of the plane and tried to search for my suitcase. I didn’t have much with me, a big suitcase for my clothes and shoes, a backpack for my makeup and bathroom essentials and my handbag for my personal stuff such as my cellphone, wallet and gum. I finally spotted my suitcase and took it. Damn, I didn’t remember it being this heavy. Some older man saw me struggling and walked over to help. I thanked him and awkwardly walked to the gate where the people were waiting for their family. The door finally opened and I almost fell to the ground as I saw the massive amount of people with cameras here. It meant only one thing, he was here. I tried to stretch my neck so I could see any curls in the room. I didn’t even know why I was searching for curls because he didn’t really have curls right now. He had more of a slicked back messy hair kind of do. I don’t even know if that makes sense but it was what he had. I finally spotted him from afar and couldn’t stop giggling because he was waving with so much excitement. I finally made my way to where he was with Paul, I reckon. Yes, it was Paul. It was really nerve racking to walk towards Harry and Paul with the eyes of so many people on me. As soon as I was near him, Harry embraced me in a tight hug. I couldn’t even hug him because he had my arms glued to my body. He finally let go of me before flashing the most adorable smile ever.

‘’How was your flight, love?’’ He said with his heavy accent and I almost fell hard on the ground.

‘’It was okay… long but okay.’’ I said before turning to greet Paul who was smiling at me. ‘’Good evening Paul, how are you on this sunny day?’’ I asked him with the most awkward smile and a wave of the hand. Yes I was trying to be more polite and civilized so he could erase his memory of the wild girl from the boutique.
