A Night To Remember

Last night was rough. I couldn’t sleep knowing that he had my number on his phone. I kept checking my phone to see if he texted me. I felt like a complete idiot to even consider that he might text me. At 4 in the morning, I gave up and turned off my phone, hoping to catch a little of sleep. I had an early class at 8 and usually I got up at 7, just to prepare myself but this time I woke up at 7h30. I didn’t have to tell you that it wasn’t an easy task waking up this morning. I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes and got up to grab my bathroom necessities. I had 15 minutes top to get a quick shower and get ready for my morning classes. I walked to the girls’ bathroom and undressed myself and got in the shower. I put some toothpaste on my toothbrush and brushed my teeth in the shower. I spit on the ground and quickly put some body wash on my bare skin to rinse it as fast as possible. Why didn’t he text me yet? He didn’t say he would but usually when you ask for someone’s number, it was because you were planning on texting them right? I was so focused on what was on my mind that I almost slipped on the wet ground. I quickly walked to my dorm room and got dressed. I put on some ripped black short with a flashing yellow jumper. I tied my hair into a messy ponytail because today I wasn’t going for the fashionista style. I grabbed my book bag and closed the door behind me. I ran down the stairs praying that the Lord won’t let me fall. I was not an athletic person at all so sprinted to the location of my class which was a lot more difficult than I imagined. I entered the building where my communications class was and as soon as I saw the teacher who was about to close the door, I yelled to hold up. In my university, if the door was closed, don’t come back to disturb the class. She heard me yelling and held the door for me. I must look like a red tomato right now. I sat down on the nearest chair and put my book on the desk. I took everything I needed for this class out of my bag and realized that I forgot my phone in my dorm. I cursed under my breath before trying to concentrate on the stuff we were learning today. But I couldn’t concentrate because all I was thinking about was that he must have texted me by now and I couldn’t answer because I forgot my phone. I put my hand on my chin and hoped that those 3 hours would fly by really fast.

Finally after 3 hours of thinking about social issues in multimedia and elaborating some strategy I was finally done with this class. I put everything in my bag and walked towards my dorm; I had some sleep to catch and beside my next class was at 4 o’clock. As I was walking on the campus, I heard someone calling my name from a far. I turned around and saw Callie running towards me. I waved at her and waited for her to come closer to me. I have known Callie since I was baby. Our moms used to be friends so it was only normal that we became best friend as well. She knew everything about me and vice versa. She was my partner in crime and I loved her death. Her long brown hair was moving with the wind and every little move she made was so graceful and effortless. She finally got close enough and shoved a gossip magazine in my face. I had to take it and move it a little farther so I could see what it was about. On the cover of the magazine was Harry and one of his gorillas but the thing that got me off my feet was that I was on the picture as well. I was reading the big tittle when Callie hit my arm.

‘’You didn’t tell me you were with Harry Styles yesterday!’’ She shouted before I covered her mouth with my hand. If there was something that Callie couldn’t keep for herself; it was a secret. She had the biggest mouth in town.

‘’You could shut up… It wasn’t a big deal.’’ I said starting to walk away from her but she ran to catch up to me before putting her arm around my shoulder.

‘’Elizabeth Claire Benson, you better tell me what happened or else… I will burn your One Tree Hill collection and God knows that I will do it.’’ She said grinning at me.

I loudly sighed before taking her arms off my shoulder and leading her into the Starbucks. We ordered our usual drink before getting a seat near the window. I sat down and she was waiting for me to start the story of how I met Harry Styles. So I began from the start, I told her about the chaos on the street, the screaming girls and about how he practically saved me from his lunatic fans. I told her about how I lost my little sister for a few minutes but she didn’t seem to care. I told her about how his guards went to find my sister and how we got outside in back store. I told her the whole story and when I was done that was what came out of her.
