Chapter 5

When Friday came the girls were discussing their usual Friday night hang at Lincoln's arcade and grill. Lauren noticed Camila hadn't said anything and was looking a bit uncomfortable. Camila still didn't feel like she was a part of the group. Lauren could sense this so she asked,

"You're coming tonight? Right, Camila?"

"I'm invited?" Camila asked confused. "I didn't think you guys would want me to come."

"Of course we want you to come." Dinah stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"You hang with us now remember. You're our friend. So get used to it." Normani joked.

"I thought we were just school friends. I didn't think you would want to hang out with me on your weekends too." Camila confessed.

"I wouldn't want to hang out with anyone else on my weekends." Lauren smiled.

"Hey" Dinah and Normani exclaimed in unison.

"Sorry but Camila is way more fun interesting than you guys." Lauren laughed.

"Thanks Lauren. And if you guys are sure you want me to be there than I'll go" Camila returned.

"Yes. This is going to be so much fun guys. I'm so excited." Normani shared. The girls finished their lunches and headed off to the rest of their classes. The rest of the day couldn't go by fast enough for Lauren. She had a strange feeling that tonight's arcade hang was going to be better than all the others. After school ended the girls all headed their separate ways to get ready for tonight. Dinah and Normani headed to Dinah's house to get ready while Lauren and Camila went to their separate houses. 8:00 rolled around and Lauren got into her car to pick up Camila so they could meet the rest of the girls at Lincoln's. Lauren drove down the street and picked up Camila.
