*3rd POV*

Since Lauren had payed for Camila they were supposed to be sharing a milkshake but the close interaction made Lauren too nervous so she gave the milkshake to Camila and ordered herself a soda. Lauren didnt know why but ever since Camila had come to town she had been extremely nervous. Doing simple things like sharing a milkshake frightened her. Camila intimidated her but she didnt know why. Since Camila had become a part of their group regularly, all Lauren wanted to do was spend time with her. Camila just had this energy around her that drew Lauren in and left Lauren wanting more time with her. The feeling confused Lauren but she tried not to think about it. Lauren just went along with what she felt was right at the time.

"Hey are you ready to be murdered in Pacman." Camila joked.

"No way. Trust me. I am the best. I hold the highscore on that machine." Lauren returned.

"Oh wow what an accomplishment. How many people are in this town?" Camila gestured.

"You're right. Good point. But just so you know Im not going to take it easy on you." Lauren said with a warm smile. The friendly banter made Lauren's heart flutter in her chest.

"Oh I wouldnt want you to." Camila said returning the smile. Seeing the warm grin on Lauren's face sent waves of happiness over Camila. She didnt get it why did a single smile from Lauren make Camila feel so good. She had never felt this way before. Lack of understanding scared her so she pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind for a moment.

"Well lets stop talking and see this iconic battle go down live." Dinah said.

"Alright lets do it." Lauren said heading over towards the Pacman console, Camila close behind her. After they had eaten and played Pacman (Camila put Lauren's record to shame) it was time to head home. Lauren and Camila got in the car and headed out. A quarter of the way home the car let out a low rumble, sputtered, then stopped.
