Chapter 6

*3rd POV*

Hey thanks for picking me up. I really appreciate it." Camila shared.

"No problem. Are you excited for tonight?" Lauren asked but before Camila could answer Lauren turned to look at her for a second in acknowledgement and was immediately struck by how beautiful Camila looked. The sun was shining through her dark brown hair. She was wearing a long sleeved white crop top matched with a pair of high waisted pineapple pants. Her hair was down so Lauren could clearly see how long it was. Her long brown hair fell just above her belly button. She had on a pair of white timberland boot heels. The heel of shoe was so large that she was now a bit taller than Lauren. But as if the outfit didn't capture the other girls beauty enough just Lauren looked at Camila's face Camila met her gaze and Lauren could clearly see how breath taking Camila's eyes were. They were a dark, dark chocolate brown, but Lauren could see the world in them. She could see the barrier that prohibited Camila from opening up but Lauren could also see someone deep down inside that was carefree and fun loving. Camila broke the eye contact feeling a bit insecure. Camila also couldn't help but notice that Lauren's eyes were mesmerizing.

"Sorry I just never really noticed how pretty your eyes are." Lauren said turning her attention back to the road.

"Thanks. And I was just thinking the same thing about yours. I never noticed how green they are before."

"Thanks." Lauren replied feeling a blanket of awkward silence fall between them. She didn't know why but she was nervous for tonight. She felt underdressed compared to Camila's well put together outfit and she had these weird butterflies in her stomach every time Camila would look in her direction.
