Crazy

14 1 6

Eyes of blue
Cheeks, cherry red
Words of wisdom
You say you'll always be there,
But you're never ready to go.

The thing about a best friend
Is that you're always there.
Maybe I'm wrong.
I've given far more than I should
And now I'm in debt.

I fall faster than I swim.
And each time I try to swim better,
And end up thinking I swim farther.
But each time the same thing happens.

"Always be there for you..."
How can you always be there for me?
When you never have any time to be there.
All I want is a second foot,
To catch me when I fall.
Or at least a hand,
To pick up the pieces
When I'm shattered.
I don't need a voice to wish me luck.
Luck can't save you.
Let alone me.

"I miss him too."
I miss you so much I feel like I'm drowning.
And the thought of you being in love is like the world crashing down.
But I'm not in love.
No.
You have to love yourself before you can love someone else.
You showed the world
To a broken lens,
Photographed a sapling,
And showed that the cracks the line the spine
Are way better than the mirror.

But it's time to capture the sunrise
And take a picture of the moon.
For the curtains are being let down.

It's time I let you go.

*the song is Angel by Theory of a Deadman.*

An author's note that is totally irrelevant to the poem but still (mildly) important: Everyone thinks that Angel with a Shotgun is Castiel's song in Supernatural and I'm like WHAT ABOUT ANGEL BY THEORY OF A DEADMAN THAT'S TOTALLY DESTIEL. Please listen to it it is one of my favorite songs.

Favorite song list (for right now):
-Renegade by Styx
-Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas (not just because it's so supernatural, my uncle used to listen to that song and I feel close to him)
-Angel by Theory of a Deadman
-Gibberish by MAX (feat. Hoodie Allen)
-Wrong by MAX
-Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard
-If These Sheets Were the States by All Time Low

I think that's it. BTW I JUST FINISHED SEASON FOUR AND AM WAITING TO START FIVE. WHO IS EVERYONE'S FAVORITE CHARACTERS? COMMENT THEM PLEASEEEEE.
