Chapter 25

John left the room to let me change since I still wasn't comfortable changing in front of people. I got dressed and went to the kitchen. "Hey Penny" Pattie smiled, it looks like she was cooking. "Whatcha cookin?" I asked, looking at the pots on the stove. "Spaghetti and George is talking to John" She said stirring the sauce with a wooden spoon. "Oh cool" I said and sat on the counter.

George walked back into the kitchen moments later, "John told me what happen" George said while putting some spices in the pot. I tried holding a class of water, but it hurt my hand too much to hold things. "Oh, do you know where he is?" I said ignoring what he previously said.

"He was in the living room, he might be there still" George said. "Thanks" I quickly said and swiftly walked in the living room and saw John talking to Paul. "Hows the hand, love?" John said, moving over so I could sit next to them.

"I found out I can't hold anything" I mumbled. Paul examined my hand. "That looks awful" he said and continued strumming on his guitar. John sat up from the couch, "Lets go to the Hospital. We can take Mimi's car" He said and grabbed his coat

"Alright" I looked at my hand knowing its broken. Me and John walked to his aunts. John walked in the house and I followed behind. "Mimi! Can me and Penny borrow the car?" John shouted from the doorway. "Penny?" Mimi said walking in the living room.

"Yeah. Shes here" He said laughing. "Penny!" Mimi yelled enthusiastically and gave me a hug. "Fine, ignore me then." John pouted. "What is it this time Lennon?" She said looking at him with her hands on her hips. "Nothing, anyways we think she broke her hand" He said, holding my hand out to her.

"Well I was a nurse John" She said and slipped her glasses on and looked at my hand. I winced in pain as she touched it. "Sorry Hun. I think your ring finger knuckle tendon slid over." She said and took her glasses off. "So its not broken?" John said. "No. just take her to the hospital. They'll give her pain medicine for it." Mimi said, handing John her car keys.

"Ta" John said waving to Mimi. "Nice seeing you again Penny" She said and opened the door for us to leave. I smiled back at her before we left. Me and John got to the hospital and waited in the waiting room. A woman in a white coat and a clipboard, opened the door. "Eleanor Rigby?"

I guess John wrote my last name as Rigby, not Charlotte. "Follow me" She smiled. We walked back to a room and I sat down on a hospital bed and John sat on a chair. "It smells weird here" I said and stretched out, waiting room chairs aren't very comfortable.

"Yeah." John said and yawned. "Do you think I messed Cynthia's face up?" I said quietly. "Well there isn't much damaging you could do to make it worse but yes" He said laughing, I blushed "I blacked out. What happen?" I said, looking at my swollen knuckles.

"Well. You got out of my grip and attacked her and got her cornered in a booth and I pulled you off and carried you back to the hotel" He said. A doctor walked in the room before I could reply.

"Hi i'm Doctor Robert. I see Eleanor hurt her hand?" Dr.Robert said looking at his clipboard. I nodded. "Lets have a look" He said putting my hand on a silver tray, he flipped my hand over to look at my palm. "Ow" I said and bit down on my lip to stop from crying.

"Sorry love" he said and placed my hand down. John began to envy the way the doctor spoke to me.  "Its not broken. Just a tendon damage to your ring knuckle. We'll get you some medicine for it, but now i'll just wrap both of your knuckles for you" He said putting a cold ointment on my knuckles and started wrapping them both up in a white bandage.

"Thank you" I said and stood up from the bed. "Go to the front they'll fill out some work" He said and grabbed his clipboard. John kissed me in front of the doctor to let the doctor know I was Johns, not his. 

Dr.Robert left so John and I went to the front and filled some papers and left. "Wasn't that bad was it?" John said opening the door for me. "It hurts" I said looking at my gauze wrapped knuckles.

We dropped Mimi's car off at her flat and walked back to the hotel.
