Chapter 27

TRIGGER WARNING

"Paul said that you were on the phone with someone and sat on the couch asked if you were oka-" 

"I know that part but after that" I said examining my wrist

"Ye said you were going to take a shower. He said he didn't hear the shower running after 20 minutes and went to check on ye and he knocked on the door and ye didn't respond so he got in the bathroom to find ye with a razor in yer hand and with yer wrist bleeding. Ye weren't responding so he called me and Ringo in. We called an ambulance and ye been in a coma for a week." He said rubbing my hands.

"Oh, I don't remember doing that..."  I said looking at him.

"Its okay. I'm going to call George flat. We are still staying there" He said and started dialing the number to the hotel.

"Hey Geo" John said over the phone

He paused. 

"Yes she just woke up. She understands what going on" 

Another pause

"I'll tell her. Tell everyone that shes up we will see ye when we get back."

He paused. 

"alright bye" He said and hung the phone up. 

I looked at him. "How long am I going to be here for? 

"I'll go to the nurse station" He went out of the room 

I sat there alone. Why did I do this? I thought to myself. 

I started remembering the dream

A nurse came in with John. 

She started checking my heart rate and my blood pressure. 

"Everything seems normal except her weight and vitamins, we can release her today but we are prescribing pain killers, antidepressants and anti-anxiety pills" The nurse said writing on her clipboard.

John looked at me. "That's a lot isn't it?" 

"Her insurance cover it and she needs it" The nurse said

"How long and how much?" I asked 

"You take 1 pill of all 3 unless you don't need the pain killers but you keep taking the other 2 as you need it" She said handing me my cloths

"Okay" I said taking my cloths from her

"Let me change your bandages and take your IV off" She said taking the tape off the IV

I waited patiently. She started unraveling the bandages on my wrist.

I looked down at my wrist. There were large deep cuts reaching from the starting point of my wrist to middle of my forearm. 

My cuts started bleeding. John  looked down at the cuts on my arm and looked at me with sad eyes.

The nurse re-cleaned my cuts which hurt incredibly. "Alright get dressed and meet me at the nurse station" 

I nodded and she shut the door behind her.

"Do I need to leave?" He said shifting in his seat.

"No. Can you untie this gown for me? I sorta cant reach it" I said trying to reach the back

He laughed. "Okay" 

John untied the back for me and I slipped my cloths on.

I stood up shakily. "Thanks for being here John" 

He braced his arm around me to make sure  I wouldn't fall. "Its fine love" 

we walked to the nurse station and she handed me the medicine I needed. 

John and I got in Mimi's car and went back to the hotel

Me and John walked into the hotel room. 

"Hey Penny! Welcome back" Jane said and hugged me

Maureen heard Jane and rushed in.

 Maureen punched my arm "You scared me you idiot!" 

I laughed

Pattie followed after Maureen. "PENNY!" She shouted and hugged me. 

We all four stood in the living room hugging. 

"HEY LADS! THEIR GROUP HUGGING!" Ringo shouted and gave us a hug

Paul appeared from the side kitchen. "A GROUP HUG?" 

John and Paul ran up and joined the hug. 

George came out of the kitchen eating. He noticed were we are all hugging and he put his sandwich down and joined. 

 We stayed there for a minute hugging each other

"I'm suffocating" Pattie said being crushed between John and Paul

We all let go of each other. 

"Great yer back Penny" Ringo said and smiled

After a few we all went back to what we were doing before. John and Paul went to the other room and started talking. 

Johns point of view 

"John?" Paul said looking at me

"Yeah Paulie?" 

"I'm worried about Penny" He said

I looked down at my feet. "I think we all are" 

"Before she went to the bathroom she said that Darren was back" Paul said nervously

I sighed. "Shes terrified Paul" 

"I know. But please keep a closer eye on her, I know George, Ringo and me are"  Paul said looking at me seriously.
