Chapter 41

I sat in a rocking chair as John painted Julia's bedroom.

"That looks lovely" I said admiring John's painting on the wall.

"If we didn't make it as a band I wanted to be a artist" he said.

"Really? Well it looks good" John was drawing flowers all over the white walls.

I fell asleep while rocking in the chair.

A few hours later John woke me up to tell me he's finished painting.

The white walls had flowers and the sun painted. There were also painted clouds on the ceiling. "I love it!"

"I'm glad ye do" he said with a grin.

"Wanna go buy some stuff to put in here?" I said getting up from the chair.

"Sure, I'll ask Maureen and Ringo?"

I nodded. I have 6 months to go until little Julia is born.

Maureen is a month ahead of me.

Me and John left Maureen and Ringo to look for cloths while we went to look for a crib.

"Hopefully we won't get noticed" John said.

"Eh" I said

We picked out a crib and went to the cloths section.

"What about this one?" John held a little baby outfit to his chest.

"Aw, how cute" I cooed to him

He smiled and places it in the cart.

"Hey look, a 'I love Beatles' shirt" I said holding it up.

"YES" he shouted.

I placed that in the cart along with other cloths.

"We need diapers. A lot of em" he said putting 3 boxes in the cart.

"Gonna change dirty diaper's?" I giggled.

He held his nose. "I'll be the best father I can be"

I snorted. "John Lennon? A Rock'N Roller?"

"I got time" he said annoyingly.

"OH MY GOD" A lady shouted.

Me and John looked her way.

"ARE Y- OH MY GOSH!!" he said grabbing him.

"Oh okay..." He said hugging her awkwardly.

"I LOVE YOU AND PAUL!!" she said holding onto him.

"Not Ringo? Or George?" John said looking at me for help. I shook my head and made him suffer.

"WILL YOU BE MY BOYFRIEND?!" she shouted stroking his hair roughly.

"Oh um... Sorry love but my girlfriend is expecting a baby" he said pushing her away.

"NO. SHES NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND!! I AM!" She stared me down.

"Okay let go." He said pushing her off.

"NO I LOVE YOU!" she grasped tighter.

"Ringo is here..." He said slowly shoving her away.

She drastically looked over he shoulders "WHERE?"

"Outside" he said with a smirk.

She unhooked from John and quickly ran outside looking for Ringo.

John wiped his jacket off with his hands and continued looking for cloths for his baby Julia.

"Look at these little socks John" I said

He looked and batted his eyes. "Dawww"

After shopping for some items for Julia we went back home and started setting her baby room up.
