Chapter 56

All hell broke loose back at the house between Jane and Pattie along with George, John and Paul. Ringo and Maureen stayed out of the fight and kept to themselves, but they voiced their opinion to me. They wanted Jane gone.

I began to quickly run out of money and was only down to about 10 pounds which was enough to get a taxi and go back home. The kids are still at Paul's dad for a week

I called for a taxi and finally found one and got in the back seat. It reeked of alcohol and vomit. The taxi driver turned his radio down "Address Ma'am? " He said in a scruffy voice. I looked away from the window " Just take me to Ailsa Avenue, please" I said.

He nodded and took off. After a few minutes of him speeding down the road "Wait, isn't that where The Beatles live?" He asked.

"Uhm, Yes" I said as I slightly rolled the window down to let the smell on the back seat escape. "You a fan?" He said and turned the heat up in the car. "Oh, no i'm Johns g-girlfriend" I said and suddenly remembered again about him a Jane.

"You sure you aren't a fan?" He asked again with a smart tone in his voice. "Yeah, do you got a cigarette and a lite?" I asked. He pulled a pack of cigarettes and a small box of matches from the glove compartment and handed them to me, "Anything for you Eleanor" He said.

I guess he knows me because of John, anyways I lit the cigarette and put it between my lips. I haven't had a cigarette in ages, it felt pretty good actually. The car stopped in front of my flat and I offered him 2 pounds and he took it.

I huffed my suitcase up the steps and opened the door. John and George were both sitting on the couch. They both have mustaches growing and John was wearing round glasses. John and George looked up at me "Penny?!" John shouted and immediately jumped up from the couch.

He tried pulling me in for a hug but I pushed him away "John, please" I said almost breaking into tears. He let go and frowned "I've told you I was bloody sorry a billion times and you still want to be a arse about it!" He shouted.

John started scaring me, I started backing up from him "At least I wasn't the one who cheated!" I shouted back and broke down in tears. Ringo and Maureen rushed in from the stair case and put a protective arm around me. "Oh now look! You got the useless one in the band to support you" He said and shook his head disapprovingly.

George got up from the couch and glared at John "Ringo isn't useless you twat!" He shouted. Paul and Jane ran into the living room where everyone was fighting at. Everyone stopped arguing when Jane was present. "Oh and speaking of useless and twats..." I said and glared at her.

"Keep your thoughts to yourself" Jane said tried to kiss up on John. John angrily pushed her into the wall "Piss. Off" Was all he said. Jane had a hurt expression on her face. Pattie crossed her arms and stood next to George "You need to leave, Jane" Pattie gritted through her teeth. Jane's expression turned to a smile "I was about to leave anyways" Jane said coolly.

"Well hurry your ass up" Maureen said. "Grow up Maureen" Jane said and left. I didn't say a word to anyone, I went to our room and closed the door and sat my stuff on the bed.
