It All Started With A Thud

Chapter Nine

~ Alex's Point of View ~

It's been a week since Christian told me that he loves me and I still haven't made up my mind to whether I love him or I just have a little crush on him.
I'm at Christian's house again and this week we decided to just relax and watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and not talk about relationship stuff. Everything was going fine until my phone rang, Mac was trying to call me. " Who is it? " Christian asked.
" Mac, " I say. " Should I answer?"
" I would if I were you, " he said.

Mac: Alex, can we talk?
Me: Yeah, what's up?
Mac: I'm sorry, about the fight a few weeks ago. I was kind of jealous that you were hanging out with Christian so much.
Me: Don't be jealous, we've been friends for years and I've only known Christian for about a month. He's great but he could never replace you.
Mac: I also was freaking out about you skipping class. I want you to have the best life ever
Me: Mac, I know you care about me but you can't plan out my life for me and who knows the best thing for me right now might be to take it easy and watch FRIENDS with someone special
Mac: That sounds fun we should do that today
Me: I can't I'm already doing that with someone else right now
Mac: Who's house are you at?
Me: Nobody's
Mac: You can't lie to me you're with someone right now I know it. Now who are you with?
Me: nobody
Mac: You're with Christian aren't you?
Me: Noooooo
Mac: You are aren't you? You're at Christian's house! I bet you're happy about it too.
Me: So what if I am it's not like we're making out or anything.
Mac: Why would guys make out? unless! You and Christian are dating! How long have you guys been together?
Me: Yes we are dating. But you can't tell anyone okay?
Mac: Okay, fine. I won't tell anyone. Now tell me when you two start dating?
Me: We started dating the day of our fight. Now will you please stop asking so many questions.
Mac: Okay, okay I'll stop. Anyways it's glad to have my best friend back.
Me: Yep.
Mac: * hangs up the phone *

" So how'd everything go? " Christian asked putting his arm around me.
" I got my best friend back, " I say.
" I'm so happy for you, " he said kissing me on the cheek.
      " She also knows that we're dating, but don't worry, I told her that it was a secret and she won't tell anyone, " I say.
      " I hope she doesn't, " he says pulling me close into a hug.
     " I hope so too, " I say.
