I'm 7 months along now. I have an ultrasound but now it's with my real doctor. The last doctor was a student filling in for her. Ed's coming with me this time, because he's not throwing a babyshower.
"Hello, Mrs.Sheeran." Dr. Smith says.
"Hi!" I say.
She takes the ultra sound and she has some news.
"I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that they aren't twins and the baby's a boy. The good news is that the baby is healthy." Dr.Smith says.
"So we're having a baby boy then?" Ed asks.
"Correct. They weren't girls and they weren't twins. I'll make sure to talk to the doctor who saw you last time. They must have thought that was funny." She says.
"Thank you." I say.

We get home and I go up to the baby's room. I bring some boxes up to pack away the girls clothes for down the road. Not much can be for him, but at least we haven't painted the room.
"You ready to paint the room?" Ed asks, leaning on the doorway.
"We need to get the paint though." I say.
"That's why I had green paint in the basement." Ed says holding up a paint can. "I was thinking of painting the guest room instead, but it'll work for him."

Two showers and three shirts later, I am finally paint free from painting the baby's room. The room has a safari theme, which has wall stickers all over. I have to admit, it was really fun painting it even though I was practically covered in paint. I plop down on the bed beside Ed.
"Have you thought of any names for him?" Ed asks putting his arm around me.
"Well I have a few." I respond. "Oliver, Josh, Ryan and Matthew."
"Ryan sounds like a great name." Ed says. "Ryan Oliver Sheeran."
"That sounds lovely." I say.
We share a kiss and cuddle together to watch a movie. He gets to pick, and I have to cover my eyes until the movie actually starts.
He picks Valentine's Day. The movie I was in with Taylor Lautner. I don't mind it one bit. I just have the man I really love with me and that's all that matters.

I awake the next morning thanks to Ryan kicking. I can't wait to meet him. Mostly so that I don't get kicked anymore. Ed is really looking forward to having a baby boy. So am I.

---Two Months Later---
I'm in the middle of playing guitar when I feel water rush down my pants. The baby is coming.
"Ed!" I yell. He comes racing in.
"THE BABY'S COMING?!" He yells.
"Yes!" I reply.
"WE HAVE TO GET YOU TO THE HOSPITAL!" Ed yells, carrying me bridal style to the car. Well obviously we have to get there. I call my mom in the car to let her know. Thankfully she's in Nashville.

The pain is getting worse and worse, but thankfully I'm in a room. The doctor hasn't gotten in the room yet. My mom and Ed are allowed in the room. I'm in the room almost an hour before the doctor's here.
"When I say three, push." He informs. "One. Two. Three."
I push with my all my might. I let out a little scream.
"Good. Two more big pushes." He says. "PUSH!"
I push once again. This time I scream louder.
"Just one more time. PUSH!" He says.
I push with all my might, and it's making me feel tired.
As soon as Ryan is out, the doctor goes to wash him down. Then cuts off the cord. I'm left breathless when I'm handed him. He's handsome. My eyes. Ed's hair. I fall asleep holding him in my arms. Ed goes to fill out the birth
certificate.
I wake up from my sleep to find Ryan in his crib at the hospital. I pick him up and sing "Never Grow Up" to him. I wish he could stay like this forever.
