The whole room that I'm in is white. I'm still wearing the blood stained clothes I was wearing when the crash happened. This is death. Panic takes over me. What about Ed and Ryan? And the fans?
Through the mist, a bloodied redhead staggering through.
"Ed!" I say limping to him.
"We have to get out of here." He says.
"We're on the fine line between life and death. We have to make it through." I choke.
"We will, Taylor." Ed reassures.
Together we sit, waiting. We don't say a word. Both of us are too frustrated to talk.
Ed slowly fades away, as if he was a ghost.
"ED!" I yell.
"TAYLOR!" Ed yells before he's gone.
I collapse. He's gone. Forever. Ryan will have to live with just me, if I make it out alive.
Then, I do the same thing Ed did, fade away. I'm dying. And I have to accept that.
I open my tired eyes. My eyes turn to my right. My mother is there.
"I'm so glad you're okay, sweetie. It was terrible." She says, stroking my hair.
"Is Ed okay?" I croak out.
"He's okay, honey. You should get some rest." She assures.
Ed's alive. And I am too. That's all that matters.
When I'm fully awake, I am told of my injuries. I have a few stitches here and there, and my leg is broken. But Ed took the worst of it.
He has stitches on his back, from his right shoulder down to his left hip. And on top of that, he also broke his arm and leg.
But everything will be okay. We'll get through this together.
