Sorry I just kind of disappeared and stopped updating this story.

I had just gotten of the phone with one if my colleagues about Zachary's drawings when I got a text from him.

He was at his apartment and most likely sleeping. I decided I'd stop by there after work and check on him, even if he was asleep.

I had talked to a few more people before my working day was over about Zachary's drawings, a few of his paintings already being priced because they wanted them so bad.

I smiled as I shoved the papers with the details of the people that wanted the paintings and how much they would pay for them in my bag. Zachary would be happy with the prices.

I had just gotten to his apartment, still in my suit. I walked up to his door and knocked. It took a minute but the door opened revealing a sleepy Zachary.

"Sorry I woke you." I said.

He smiled, "It's fine, come in."

I walked in and instantly took off my tie and unbuttoned a few buttons on my shirt.

Zachary took a seat at his dining room table across from me and poured himself a cup of tea, "You want some?"

I nodded and he poured me a glass. I pulled out the papers and showed them to him.

"What are these?" He asked looking up at me.

"Those are just a few people that are interested in your paintings and how much they would pay for them."

"This one says 460 euros." He said surprised, "That's more than I make in a week."

"Well that's what someone would pay for your oil painting of the Eiffel tower. You can do portraits too, some people requested that you do a portrait of them and their significant other. You could quite your job at the cafe and you could have your own studio."

Zachary smiled at me, "I can't believe you went through all this trouble for me."

"I could also get you a studio in under a month if your serious, I had my assistant pick a few places that are for sale."

Zachary got up and wrapped his arms around me, "God, you are the best boyfriend ever." He kissed my face all over, lingering on my lips.

"So do you want a studio, where you can work on all this," I asked motioning to all the art on his walls and the supplies in the bookshelf, "In an actual studio and make money doing it."

"I'd love to, but I don't have to money to pay for a building and the equipment to go in there. I already have to pay the rent on this and pay for all of my necessities. Plus the stuff that I have now isn't the best and I won't want to give people any less."

"Take it as a gift. I'll buy you what ever you need and eventually you will have made enough money to have paid for it yourself. And eventually, when you are ready, there is always room for you in my apartment."

"Basile, it's a lot to ask for-"

I cut him off, "I know, but I have to money and I want to make sure you are doing what you love to do."

He kissed me again and hugged me, "I love you."

I smiled, "I love you, too."

I spent the rest of my time there talking about the plans for his studio, writing everything down and having Zachary draw the layout of it so I would know exactly what he wanted and I could start on it as soon as possible.
