"Aiko! What are the flowers in your hair? I can never remember..."
Aiko smiled as she wrapped up the paper quickly around the bunch of flowers.
"They are hibiscus, Ino."
"Hibucus?"
"Hibiscus!" She laughed at the confused blonde girl who swung her feet steadily.
"Hibiscuits?... Whatever! What's the meaning for those again?" Aiko sealed the group of flowers before picking out some seeds from the collection on a counter.
"Beauty, unity and peace." Aiko breathed with a grin and Ino laughed.
"That makes sense! I mean, you are really pretty, Ai." Aiko shook her head in amusement before sorting through the group of seeds.
"Thank you Ino, but I picked them because they represented my dreams for the world." Ino scoffed before crossing her arms.
"You're always so poetic, Aiko..." She grumbled.
Aiko only hummed to herself as she tried to focus on the flowers and not what would come later in the evening.
It's only dinner, right?
Itachi said all I had to do to keep off the judging was to offer to help cook and clean up.
But I'll find some way to screw it up...
Aiko sighed before hearing the bells on the shop door ring.
"Welcome-. Oh, hi weasel butt." Aiko grinned with a small wave and Itachi rolled his eyes.
"You are late on coming home, Aiko." He informed her.
"Aiko! You have an Uchiha boyfriend?!" Ino squealed with excitement but the words made the dark haired girl freeze and flush.
"U-Um, ac-"
"I can't believe it! I mean if someone as pretty as you can do it, then I sure can!" Ino fist pumped the sky in determination and Aiko sighed, well aware she wouldn't be able to talk the blonde out of the idea.
"Where's my ducky?" Aiko asked Itachi while leaning against the counter and he stared at her flatly.
"Do you mean my little brother?..." The Uchiha smirked at the irritation that revealed itself in the bright ambers.
"He's at your house, waiting on the tea and tomatoes you promised him." Aiko sighed while scratching her head before glancing at the blonde girl who looked at her pleadingly.
"A promise is a promise, huh?..." She whispered to herself before coming from behind the counter. "What are you smirking for, weasel butt?" Aiko questioned with furrowed eyebrows. He only shook his head with a hand in his pocket.
"You know the usual rules, don't touch or break anything or play with my herbs." Aiko narrowed her eyes at the blonde before they could enter her home.
"Yeah yeah, I get it, it was only a one-time thing!" Ino grumbled and Aiko rolled her eyes.
"You used one of my herbs and caused the bottom half of your hair to die." Aiko pointed out and Ino pouted at the memory. Her hair is longer now but the memory alone made her grip it to ensure it wasn't in its original bob.
Aiko sighed before Itachi slid the door open for her and she entered.
"Sorry, little ducky, I had to watch blondie over here," Aiko grumbled.
"What is she doing here?!" Sasuke exclaimed before Ino grinned and sprinted for the dark haired boy.
"Sasuke?!"
