Blood.
Blood everywhere.
It was on the walls, the floors... Her body.
She choked on the feeling of her heart pounding so hard that she feared it would give out. Her hands shook as she realized the blade was in her hands and her knees buckled while she desired to weep.
"Sasuke?" She reached but froze as she realized it was his crying she heard and not her own. "No..." She whispered and tried again but his cries only grew. Guilt and shame washed her. She killed them all. "Sasuke please!" She begged and he ignored her cries.
It was agonizing.
"How could you do this?"
Suddenly she was vibrating and she screamed in confusion. Everything fading while she clawed the numbness.
"NO!" She was hysterical. "Sasuke come back!" She screamed and scratched at the darkness for him. "My hands! I... They...!" She choked on her own words as they slammed into her lungs and burned her throat.
"Tied! Tied! Tied! Tied!" She cried out in different shrieks while fighting the black.
"SASUKE!"
Suddenly it was the bright light that burned her eyelids. She realized it was not vibrating but shaking.
"Wake..." She snapped her eyes open as a means to hide from the darkness that tried to swallow her in her sleep.
"Wake up!" She blinked her blurry vision and it took her a moment to realize it was Itachi who shook her so violently. Freezing she tensed and tried to scramble away from the touch of another but failed at the tight grip she thrashed from. His Sharingan eyes were staring at her as everything fell silent. It took her far too long to remember the exception of his touch.
She blinked before squinting at the tan face that eyed her cautiously. She locked her jaw at the sight of the evil eyes.
"Get..." She swallowed, "Get rid of them." His face straightened at the request before his eyes fell onyx and it was obvious he was annoyed at the request.
"I had to make sure it was not genjutsu." Get over yourself...
She could practically hear and she had ground her teeth as she slid away before hugging her legs to her chest.
He took the time to eye the scars and kanji that crawled up her arm, a sight he had only seen one other time due to the few times she has worn short sleeves was when she was meaning to be alone.
Her amber eyes had tears in them and he eyed them before contemplating whether or not to approach such an emotional subject. She looked pained and seemed to struggle to breathe before her eyes narrowed.
"Leave if you're uncomfortable." She suddenly snapped and he almost rolled his eyes in annoyance. He sighed and stood from her bed, an expression of restlessness testing him. Because those amber eyes being so lit with an anger such as that resonated with his own restlessness.
"What was the dream about?" His voice was a monotone that didn't even seem bothered by her harsh outburst from earlier. He grew even more annoyed when she started crying before she could answer, but he waited patiently anyway.
"I'm spending too much time a-around you." She hiccuped and he seemed to almost visibly frown at the claim. Taking a step closer he eyed her bloodshot eyes.
"Too much?" She nodded, running fingers through her messy hair with grimaces in between. Her chest was moving in short gasps that made the Uchiha inwardly want to tell her to breathe. But instead, he stood squarely and impassively.
