Kyle's POV:

Dinner was awkward to say the least.

I've been keeping a close eye on Dan all day and I think he's getting worse. It bothers me that no one knows what's wrong with him, I've called and visited so many doctors trying to get a lead on what's wrong, but it's been hard when Dan kept refusing to meet anyone. Last night must've really had an impact on him for him to agree to go today. I've talked to Dr. Chase before, I admit, I've actually talked to three others in Boston just in case. Dr. Chase though, he's been my favorite doctor so far, I feel he's actually trying to help, that was the main reason we went to him.

During the appointment I did most of the talking. Dan was acting...odd. He kept zoning out and other times get tense, clench his fist, and glare at the wall. He's never acted like that, especially in front of people he'd just met. It was like he was battling with himself, I just don't understand it. Dr. Chase noticed his odd behavior too, even though it was their first time meeting each other.

He prescribed him more anxiety pills for now, he's pretty sure that's all that's causing him grief. We do need to come back in a month or so though, just to be sure it's working.

Chase warned me about the effects of the medication, especially because it's on a much higher dosage then usual. Most was just having weirder sleeping patterns, addiction if we're not careful, impaired driving, and mood swings. The one that worried me the most though was suicidal tendencies, but Dr. Chase says it's not very common, we just need to keep a closer eye on Dan. Also, he's not suppose to drink any alcohol while he's taking this.

After dinner was done and we all went back to the hotel, I told the rest of the gang what Dr. Chase said to me, we also let our tour manager in it, he pretty much knows the extent of Dan's problems already.

It was about 11:00 p.m. when I got up to mine and Dan's shared room (Will and Woody were right next door).

Dan was on the bed beside the window, Of course you didn't let me get first pick, idiot. Quietly as I could I got ready for bed, which pretty much consisted of me taking off my trousers while I left my tee shirt and boxers on, using the toilet, and plugging in my phone to the outlet next to my bed.

"What took you so long to get up here?"

"SHIII- DAN!" Nearly jumping out of my skin, "I thought you were asleep!" I whispered at him.

I turned around so he was facing me, giggling to himself. He's a thirty year old man, he shouldn't be giggling.

"S-sorry," He said still giggling, "I was wondering."

I couldn't help but to laugh too, it was nice to have him show another emotion other then sad or angry.

"Well sorry doesn't cut it Danny-boy." I say while I jump on his bed and lightly punch him in the arm.

"Owww...." He whined, rubbing his arm. "That was a cheep shot!"

"Oh stop your whining, you deserved it."

He shrugged and smiled.

There was a moment of silence before he spoke again.

"Thanks Kyle, for taking care of me."

I got up from the bed and ruffled his hair with my hand, which he promptly pushed away.

"No problem buddy. Now let's go to bed, I'm exhausted!"

I jumped in my bed and turned off the light.
