Nora's POV:

The next couple days have been pretty much the same old, same old.

Dan started therapy and is already improving. He can now walk with minimal assistance, though he stumbles a lot so he HAS to have someone with him whenever he's out of bed. He can move his arm pretty well, but not over his head yet. He can also grip something's, like a tennis ball and a water bottle, but he still is struggling with a pencil or cutlery.

He's come a long way so far though and it's only been about a week since he's been admitted.

I've been coming everyday, mostly because he asks me to, even though the first few times he's been as high as a kite, but now he actually is aware he generally wants me to come back. I'm totally fine with that though, I love spending time with him, he's a really great person and he's funny. Win, win.

Also, Kyle hasn't come back yet and it's taking a toll on Dan, I can tell. He needs his best friend with him.

I get where Kyle is coming from too. It must be hard to deal with, but Dan is not going to suffer anymore, I can assure you that.

And that's how I found myself at the door of Kyle's hotel room.

I talked to Janna too, trying to convince her to help me get Kyle to visit Dan, and she has. She confessed that the day after they had that 'day off' she's been pestering Kyle to go to the hospital.

My goal today is to finally break down Kyle's stubbornness and get him to visit his friend.

I knock on the sturdy door and immediately Janna answers.

"Hi Nora!" She hugs me and lowers her voice. "Kyle's in the TV room."

I follow her into the room and find Kyle in sweats, laying on the couch and watching some crap show.

I walked in and folded my arms. He looked up from the television and caught my eye.

"Nora!" He jumped up. "W-What are you doing here?" He asked nervously.

"Oh you know, just hanging out." I reply sarcastically. "Where the heck have you been, Kyle." My voice becomes serous.

"I-I.." He stumbles over his words, trying to form a sentence, but I cut him off before he could.

"It's been a week, a week Kyle! I've gone to the hospital everyday and I haven't seen you. No card, phone call, text message, not one!" He looks down sheepishly and I continue. "And what have you been doing? Watching crap TV and just chilling on the sofa?!"

Janna must've left during my spill because she is no where to be found.

"Do you even care? Dan's you're best friend and you just left him alone when he need's you the most." I calmed down and my voice got quieter. "Will, Woody, and Dick have been trying to figure out the tour, canceling shows, talking to the fans, trying to be there for Dan too. It's too much for just three of them. They can't provide things Dan needs. His mom is going back to England the day after tomorrow, trying to get Dan to move back with her, which he does not want to do. Dan's sister, Fran, she's leaving too, she has a kid and a husband she's worrying about. She can't be the big sister right now."

I pause, I could tell Kyle was feeling guiltier by the minute.

"I didn't come here to guilt trip you, I just...I barely know the guy, Kyle. He needs someone who knows him. He can't deal with being abandoned right now. He's doing better physically, he's come a long way in just a week, but-but mentally?"

I sigh. I couldn't finish my sentence.

"That's all I came here to say. I-I'll see you later I guess."
