"You're just as beautiful as on the day you used your elf form for the last time before the incident."

Alexander said those words as I had turned myself into an elf.

He looked at me with his emerald green eyes.

Alexander took a step forward towards me. Though elves were supposed to be skinny and very thin his body was full of muscles. His armor he was wearing was strong. It had some magical carvings all over it.

"It's been a long time...", Alexander whispered to me as he was standing right in front of me.

He was so close I could feel his breath on my skin. Alexander looked straight into my eyes. For a moment he looked sad but it turned into a smile as I looked at him.

Alexander was touching my blonde hair which was very long. I had flowers braided into my hair.

"Rremrebr... Elarayne...", Alexander said to me with a small voice, "Rremrebr!", he now said a little bit louder, almost desperate.

I think he was talking in the ancient language. It doesn't sound elven. But how would I know the difference between elven and the ancient language.

Alexander is behaving differently than before. But before I could say anything he took a step backwards.

"The last time you used your elf form we attended the dance in the great palace in the largest elven city, Airea. All dragons were invited. We went there together and you had this dress on. It brings back memories.", Alexander said with a little smile on his face.

After a moments silence Alexander said: "You have to practice your elven magic. It is very important."

He chanted some words I couldn't understand until his hands were glowing green.

"Normally elves have the same kind of power. Some elves have unique powers. There are mostly chosen for the leadership then other elves. But because we are dragons we have our unique style.", Alexander explained.

With a hand gesture he shot a green ball. As it hit the floor flowers were blooming on the stone floor immediately.

He chanted more words and the green glowing mist in his hands became larger. Again he threw it onto the stone floor until a tree grew large. Suddenly the branches were moving at Alexanders will.

"Our elven powers are almost the same powers as when we are in our dragon form. Elves are magical creatures which shouldn't be underestimated. Chant these words: Ahn kri gora maviga bha."

I chanted: "Ahn kri gora maviga bha!"

Now my hands had a mystical blue mist. In this mist there were pieces of ice.

"That is the spell for summoning your powers. This spell is for every dragon and elf the same. Now with the following spells I cannot help you. For everyone it is now different. I know my spells but yours not. But I can tell you the elven word for 'ice'. It's 'iesce'.", Alexander explained.

I tried saying iesce but nothing happened. Maybe I should try it with the summoning spell?

"Ahn kri gora maviga bha iesce!"

An ice ball shot out of my hands heading right to Alexander.

I heard the ice crumbling on the impact.

"Alexander, are you alright?!"

The mist of ice clears itself and all I hear is a laugh.

"Don't worry. I saw that coming.", Alexander said with a laugh.

He is surrounded by a magical shield. It's the same shield just after his human form died.

"How did you know?", I asked him.

"Mra' drear, I can read your mind. Did you already forget it?"

"Why can you read my mind? You never explained it to me."

"I will explain it... After you can read my mind again. You just have to remember."

Oh great... That's unfair.

"It's not unfair, you will understand. I promise.", Alexander said to me through his mind.

I always forget that he can read my mind.

Suddenly Orgos and Fokhin came through the door.

"Arexlan! Ocmre noog!", Fokhin said while not looking quite happy. He seemed like in a hurry.

"What's now?", Alexander asked.

"Something bad. Come!", Fokhin said.

Alexander rushed to the door to go with Fokhin. He turned himself while he was walking into a dwarf. That's impressive. I always need so long even while I am standing.

As I wanted to follow Alexander Orgos stood in front of me.

"Sorry, but you have to stay here."

"Why?", I asked.

"Don't concern yourself with it. You have to train.", Orgos said.

I looked at the door while it was closing.

What's happening?

"Fine. I'll stay here."

I turned myself into a dwarf.

Orgos seemed surprised to see me shapeshifting.

"Um... Thank you for staying, Elarayne. I'm sorry that I'm staring. I haven't seen very often a dragon shapeshifting."

"How do you know my name? The first time you met me you knew my name. Everybody knows it...", I asked Orgos.

"We have a library full of books containing the history of every dragon. You also have a book where your past is written."

"I do? ... May I read it?"

"No. Alexander strictly forbid us to let you near that book. He said you have to remember everything yourself or you will never heal properly. But your past is very interesting.", Orgos said with a sarcastic smile.

"Don't tease me. I am the only here who doesn't understand anything."

"You know... I could teach you the dwarven language...", Orgos said.

I nodded with a smile. Finally I can understand some of the words everyone is speaking here.

Orgos started: "Oghar aonbia means 'Welcome'."

I spoke after him to memorize the words.

After a while of learning the dwarven language I noticed that Alexander is a very long time away. I stood up because I have been sitting for quite a time now.

But as I stand up I feel a sudden pain in my heart.

It's paralyzing me and I fall to the ground.

My vision darkens with a red mist.

The last thing I hear is Orgos calling out my name...

My eyes see only a red mist. A person clothed in black is standing in front of me. The person comes closer to me until he says:

"Long time no see ... Elarayne."
