The Damn Monday!

Hey readers!! How are you all? So finally, the first part as promised...

There is just a small change: Bandana's role won't be played by Tunisha Sharma anymore. This time Shivangi Joshi will play her roke, just like in my first and second season. In those two seasons, you guys liked Sumedh and Shivangi's jodi so I hope this time you will accept my decision as well. Thanks!

Two years later...

Devaki's POV
I woke up when that irritating alarm rang. I sat on my bed and rubbed my eyes.It was a Monday, the damn Monday!!

I unlocked my phone and checked notifications. I saw Siddharth's message: "Good morning, Baby. Monday h to mood kharab h na? Koi baat nhi, I'm sure yeh msg dekh k khush ho jaoghi. So have a nice day aur lunch ka kya plan h? Saathme karenghe na? Love u!!" It said. I smiled. I was happy after reading it. He always sends me a message in the morning so that I wake up with a smile.

I went in the washroom and got ready.

I took my files and went in the dining hall. Bandana was sitting there, having breakfast and checking her papers.

We completed our degrees, Bandana did M.B.B.S. and I did Bachelor's in Journalism. I was working for Aaj Tak and Bandana was going fot her first interview.

Siddharth and Sumedh resigned a year back. Now they were working as scientists in the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratories.

"Dude I'm nervous" Bandana said as I sat next to her. "Darr kiya h? Haar ka...something...esa hi kucch dialogue tha na teri favourite film Bajirao Mastani se?" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "Yaar, leave it. Tere bas ki baat nhi h!" She said. I chuckled.

We had our breakfast and then I dropped her at the City Hospital.

Bandana's POV
I got in the Hospital and waited for my turn.

Finally they called me in for the interview. I went in. The started checking my file. "Bandana...darne ki koi zarurat nhi h. Agar tere woh do Guru darr jate to kya hota? Rani Lakshmibai kabhi angrezo se lad nhi paati aur Sumedh Sir class me kabhi padha nhi paate" I thought.

My paper work was good, so they asked me just a few question.

"Ok then, Miss Jassi...sorry Doctor Jassi, kal se aap join kar sakte ho" They said. Oh my God!! I was on cloud nine!!

Like I actually got the job! I thanked them and left the Hospital.

I got home by auto. First of all I texted Sumedh Sir. Then I called Devaki, and as usual that Capuchin didn't pick up.

It was time to leave for the airport. Devaki's and my family were coming from London. I went to receive them. God!! I met them after almost three years!!

They were really happy with my new job.

"Waah Beta, kitna accha ghar bnaya h tum dono ne!" Aunty (Devaki's Mom) said as we reached home. "Thanks Aunty, andar se aur bhi accha h, aie na" I said and we got in. They sat in the living room and talked about how cool the bulngalow was.

Finally it was 4pm and Devaki came. She was also excited and happy to see them all.

We had some snacks and then Mummy sat next to me. Everyome got serious except of Devaki and me. "Bandana beta, teri...teri shaadi ki umar ho gey h" She said holding my hand. I hated when someone held my hand! I took my hand away. "Ok, then?" I asked worringly. "Hamne kucch larke dekhe the, unme se ek psand h hame...tu bhi dekhle, teri shaadi usse HI hogi" She said. Devaki and I were hell shocked!!

Well, everyone knew about Devaki and Siddharth. Sumedh Sir's parents were ready but they were just waiting for me to get a job. I didn't know how to refuse. Why couldn't they wait man!?

"Mummy, mujhe abhi kisise shaadi nhi krni!! Baat khatam!!" I said rudely, raising my voice. "Shaadi to tujhe isi se krni h! Marzi se ya zabardasti se!" Papa said. I ran to my room and locked the door. I finally brokedown.

Why the hell me!? My phone beeped. It was Sumedh Sir's message. I smiled as it was after almost ten months that he talked to me. "Oh God!! Congrats love!! I'm damn happy for you!"  It said. As soon as I read the message, he called. I answered. I was still crying. "Bandana? Kya hua? Are you ok? Ro kyu rahi ho?" He asked. I told him everything.

"Ohh...pagal mene socha pta nhi kya ho gaya. Are don't worry, mene Aai-Baba ko tumhari job k bareme bta diya h, woh jald hi aenghe tumhare yaha rishte ki baat krne" He replied. "Lekin, woh dusra larka?" I asked. "Photo h uski?" He asked. "Haan" I said. "Aai ne kaha tha k woh meri photo bhejengi tumhari Mummy ko, dekho jaake kahi mere lie mana na krdiya ho tumne!" He said. I ended the call and went to Mummy's room.

"Kal woh log aa rhe h tumhe dekhne, tayaar rehna" Papa said. "M-mummy me ek baar p-photo dekh lu?" I asked. She nodded. "L-lekin agar woh lukkha hua to me shaadi nhi krunghi" I demanded. "Don't worry, Forensic Scientist h woh" Papa said. What? Maybe he is...I hope so...!!

Mummy gave me her mobile and I looked at the photo. I wanted to laugh, to dance, to jump...oh God!! This was the picture:

"Haawt!!" I said. "Umm, I-I mean haan thik hi h..." I said like he's a common guy. They smiled and I left. I told this to Devaki. "Me tujhse bhi zada khush hu pagal!! Aur ek kushkhabri sunau?" She said. I nodded exctingly. "Kal sirf tere hi nhi, ham dono k rishte ki baat hone wali h!!" She said. We hugged each other tightly. Then we decided to sleep in my room, sometimes we do this. "Hayee, Bandana, can you believe it? Kal agar sab accha hua to kucch hafto me hamari shaadi ho jaegi!!" She said. "Haan re Dev! Bas ab sab thik ho!!" I said.

We fall asleep.

The next morning we were hell excited! We woke up early and went in the kitchen. We sat on a kitchen counter. "Hmm, kya bnae?" Devaki asked. "Pooch to tu esi rhi h jese pta nhi kaha ki bavarchi ho! Rotiya to tujhse gol banti nhi h!" I said. "You can't make the dough for rotis so shut your mouth up!" She said. We fought for a while and then thought seriously.

"Chal chod na! Shaadi k baad hame hi khana bnana h...abhi chill krte h!" Devaki said. "Aur bahar jo do Hitler bethi h na, woh hame chain se jeene nhi denghi agar kucch na bnaya" I said. "Mujhe samose bnane aate h...tu apna dekhle" I said. "Jalebis!" Devaki said all of a sudden. Great!
