Siddharth's POV
As I got home, I came to know that Daadi was coming. My happiness vanished in a minisecond!

After sometime Devaki called me. "Devaki, Daadi aa rhi h" I said. "To isme itna dukhi hone wali konsi baat h?" She asked. "Woh hamesha hamesha k lie aa rhi h!" I replied. "Haan to acchi baat h na! Joint family, saath-saath rahenghe" She said. I rolled my eyes. "Shaadi k baad tumhe pta chalega! Pta h woh kitni kaddhoos h!?" I said. She chuckled.

I ended the call as I had to leave for the station.

When I reached, I easily found Daadi as she was shouting my name. "Daadi!! Peri ponna Daadi" I said touching her feet. "Oh jiyunda reh!!!" She said tapping my back (actually almost breaking my spine). I passed a fake smile and stretched my body a bit. "Oye dekh kya raha h? Utha samaan!" She said. I smiled and looked at the luggage. Four big suitcases! "Me shaadi takk zinda rahunga bhi ya pehle hi shaheed ho jaunga!?" I thought. I picked the luggage up, don't ask how, and we sat in the car.

"Suna h koi kudi dekhi h tune viah k lie?" She asked. "Ji Daadi, ab aapke aashirvaad se shaadi bhi ho jaeghi" I said while concentrating on the road. "Marjane sanskaari bhi h ya koi vilayti mem le aya!?" She asked punching my upped arm. "D-Daadi boht sanskaari h Devaki" I said. "Devaki? Naam to boht changa h" She said. I smiled.

So finally we reached home. Daadi met everyone and she had some rest.

The next day when I came back from Lab, she invited Pandit Ji for the Kundli and stuff. Devaki, Sumedh, Bandana and their families were there as well.

"Sumedh aur Bandana k 20 gun milte h...shaadi na ho to accha h" Pandit said. We looked at him shockingly. Sumedh angrily spoke. "Me aur Bandana in Kundli vaghera ki baato pe vishwaas nhi krte. Aur mene kahi padha tha k shaadi k lie atleast 18 gun milne chahiye, to Pandit ji please aag mat lagao!" He said. Bandana chuckled.

"Thik h yajmaan, me to bas keh raha tha k kahi shaadi-shuda zindagi me vighn na aa jae..." Pandit said. "Vighn ko ham sabhaal lenghe...aap in dono ka dekho" Sumedh said.

Ok our turn. Pandit was doing some calculations again and again. Finally he spoke. "Hmm...! Dosh to h...taala bhi ja sakta h. Shaadi k baad do din tak dulha-dulhan me koi pati-patni wala rishta na ho to!" He said. Everyone agreed. Daadi didn't even let me speak! I angrily stood up and went to my room.

After sometime Devaki came. "Siddharth, we can manage..." She said sweetly. "What manage? Shaadi k baad bhi pati-patni jese nhi reh sakte? What the hell is it yaar!?" I replied angrily. "Do din ki to baat h!" She explained. "Teen raato ki baat h Devaki!" I said. She smiled and lowered her eyes. "Ok, but we can wait na? Vese bhi ham sab kucch pehle hi to kar chuke h!" She said.

"Oh puh-leez!! Sab kucch kaha kiya!? Ek-do baar kiss hi to kiya mene tumhe!" I said. She smiled. "Ok, whatever it is, we can wait! That's it!!" She said and turned to leave the room.

I held her wrist and pulled her towards me. She landed on my chest. I wrapped my left arm around her waist and placed my right hand on her cheek.

We were looking in each other's eyes. "Wait kar paoghi?" I asked. She nodded. "Are you sure?" I whispered as our foreheads met. She slightly nodded. "Well, mujhse to nhi hoga!" I exclaimed. She shut her eyes and I kissed her.

That lip-lock durated till I got Sumedh's call. We broke the kiss. "Yeh kabhi mujhe sukhi rehne nhi dega!" I said. Devaki chuckled. "Neeche aaja ab! Ya suhaag raat wahi mnaega??" He asked. "Saale phone na krta to shayad mna bhi leta!! Aa raha hu ab!" I said.

We left the room. So the decision was final.

"Sagai ki tithi parso ki nikli h...aur shaadi ek hafte me" Pandit said. Finally he said something good!

"Lekin yeh to boht jaldi h! Parso takk sab tayaariya kese honghi!?" Bandana asked. "Are ho jaenghi!" Sumedh and I said in unision. Everyone burst in a laughter.

They left after that. The engagement was taking place in Devdana Nivas (Devaki and Bandana's bungalow...that's how they named it).

Bandana's POV
As soon as we reached home, we started the arrangements.

Devaki and I had to do everything as we were the only two that knew Mumbai well.

"Lightening wale, phool wale, catering wale, music wale...sabko call krdiya na?" Devaki asked. I nodded and laid on the bed. "Aaram krne ka time nhi h...kal ki planning bhi krni h! Shopping k lie kaha jaana h?" She asked. "Woh tu mujhse zada jaanti h. Malls ki list bnale, me Hospital ka kaam krke aa jaunghi" I said. "Cool! Vese tu kya pehneghi sagai me?" She asked. "Wahi jiske lie zada malls ghumne ki zarurat na ho" I said. She chuckled.

We were tired so we fall asleep.

The next day after coming back from work, we left for the mall. First of all we bought our dresses.

"Tere saath shopping pe aane se accha h me suicide karlu!" I said to Devaki. "Do saal me pehli baar ai h tu! And you know what? You are a boy! 10 mins me dress choose krli, ab mujhe meri shopping dhang se krne de!" She said. I rolled my eyes and waited. She selected seven dresses. "Dev yaar, rings bhi leni h!" I said. She picked one of those dresses, we paid the bill and left that mall.

I was driving. "Tune konsi wali order ki thi?" Devaki asked. "Matching, heart wali" I said. "Woh half heart?" She asked. I nodded. My ring had half of the heart while Sumedh's ring had the other half.

"Tune?" I asked. "Siddharth ne order ki thi...SD likhaya h uspe" She replied.
