Hi readers! Lets start with apologies...first of all I'm really sorry that yesterday I didn't post; secondly I'm sorry for the last part. I really didn't know that prenatal sex determination is banned in India and it's illegal ofcourse. After posting the part I came to know about this law and then I did some research. I really felt guilty about it, so I'm sorry.
I deleted that part. Now the story will take a four months leap.

*4 months later...*
Devaki's POV
I was getting ready for Godh Bharai.

"Devaki, jaldi bahar aao...tumhare mayike wale aa gey h!" Siddharth said. I went out of the bathroom. I was ready in my pink salwar suit. Finally we went in the hall and the Godh Bharai started. God, how many people were there!

Elders started Godh Bharai's rituals. They put many things in my godh: there were fruits, sweets, matthis, dry fruits, coconut and so on. I had to eat them all. Then they gave me blessings as well as gift (the best part you know).

From my sasural, Daadi and Maa gave me some clothes and jewellery.
It was a punjabi Godh Bharai so it finished soon.

I was really very tired! I went in my room and laid on the bed. My pregnancy due date was really close.

Bandana's POV
I was ready but I didn't even know the 'G' for Godh Bharai as the ritual was Marathi. Aai was explaining me everything.

"Yeh dhanush aur baan pakro" Aai said giving me a bow and an arrow, which were decorated with flowers. "Sumedh uske peeche khada hoja" Aai said to Sumedh. He stood behind me holding my hands.
"Iska matlab hota h k ladki ko shikaar pe jaane ka man h aur baccha mentally strong ho aur aaghe jake yoddha bane" Aai explained. We smiled and nodded.

They made me sit. Infront of me there were two bowls covered with muslin cloth. Aai asked me to choose one of those bowl. I was a bit confused. They looked the same. Sumedh was standing on my right, so making a stupid logic I chose the bowl on the right.

She showed me what was in the bowl. "Barfi! Matlab ladki hogi. Ek me pedha tha ek me barfi. Agar pedha chunti to ladka hota, barfi chuni h to ladki hogi" Aai said.

Sumedh chuckled. I looked at him with a serious face. He stopped. "Ok sorry. Lekin Aai, agar ladki naa hui to barfi to kya, tujhe poori life koi mithai khane ko nhi mileghi!" Sumedh said. "Kyu?" I asked. "Kyunke mujhe pehle se ladki chahiye thi. Tunhe ummeed jga di, I hope ladki hi ho..." He said. Aai chuckled. Aai Baba gave me blessings.

"Chal abhi isko room me leja. Thaki hui lag rhi h" Aai said. Sumedh took me to the room. He sat on the couch and turned on the tv. I sat on the bed. "You know Bandana...ab mujhe ajeeb si feeling hoti h tumhe dekh kar" He said. "Matlab?" I asked. "Kitni moti ho geyi ho! Tumhe kiss krne ki sochta hu to ulti aane lagti h!" He said making a weird face. I looked at him with widened eyes and mouth. "Kya? Sach to bol raha hu! Mene shaadi krne se pehle socha tha ki chalo ladki sundar h, acchi body h, zada patli nhi h, muscles acche se build kiye h as you are a cricketer...aur ab? Eww!!" He said. "How mean Sumedh!!" I said raising my voice.

He chuckled and came to me. "Ok ok! Sorry! Me mazak kar raha tha. Gussa kyu ho rhi ho? Itna stress mat lo yaar" He said and placed a kiss on my cheeck. I smiled and nodded.

"Sumedh, Siddharth ko call kijie na, Dev ki pregnancy due date jald aane wali h..." I said. He nodded and called Siddharth.

"Kya? Itni jaldi?" He asked. "Ok good luck yaar! Call krna agar kucch help chahiye ho" He said and ended the call.

"Kiya hua?" I asked impatiently. "Devaki to hospital me h. Siddharth ne kaha usko labor pain ho raha tha to hospital me le gey. Doctors ne kaha delivery boht paas h" Sumedh said. My heart started beating a bit fast. I was scared somewhere inside. 'Labor pain'? Damn! I was next...

Siddharth's POV
Devaki was shouting from the past half an hour. I was hell scared. "Daadi abhi to ek baccha bhi nhi hua...doctor ne kaha tha twins h. Kya hoga meri Devaki ka!?" I said. "Oye tu chup kar! Boht takaat h usme. Sab sambhaal legi woh" Daadi replied.

Finally we heard baby's first cry. I looked at Daadi and hugged her tightly. "Oye ruk ja! Abhi ek aur baaki h!" She said. "Arey haan" I said and bit my lower lip.

Devaki was continuously shouting.

Suddenly Sumedh called me. "Haan bol?" I asked. "Siddharth me Bandana bol rhi hu...kesi h Devaki?" She asked. "Hi Bandana, umm pta nhi. Dusre bacche ki delivery baaki h abhi" I said. She ended the call.

After approximately five minutes we heard the second cry. "Haash! Finally!!" I said closing my eyes slowly.

The doctor came out. "Congratulations! Ek ladka aur ek ladki hui h" She said. "Oh God! Thank you so much doctor! Me baccho ko dekh sakta hu? Aur Devaki kesi h? Me mil sakta hu usse?" I asked. "Devaki behosh h. Twins the na to pain bhi double tha. But jaldi hosh me aa jaeghi. Aur bacche thode kamzor h. Kucch din yahi hospital me rakhna hoga unhe" She said. I nodded. "Don't worry...twins me yeh normal h" She said. I smiled and nodded.

After almost an hour, Devaki became conscious. I went in to see her. She was laying on the bed and crying. I hugged her. "Baby kya hua? Roh kyu rhi ho?" I asked. "Siddharth, I finally did it! Mujhe lga tha mujhse nhi hoga!" She said. I chuckled. "Aur mujhe pta tha k meri Devaki boht strong h!" I said. She smiled. "Bacche kese h?" She asked. "Abhi dekhe nhi. Thode kamzor h, but doctor ne kaha h jaldi theek ho jaenghe" I said. She smiled and nodded.

She fell asleep. I sat next to her bed. I was having a kind of proud feeling. I was definetely excited to see my babies. I bit my lower lip and then smiled...wow! I became father!!

Bandana's POV
I was really scared after talking to Siddharth. I started crying. "Bandana? Kya hua tumhe? Pain ho raha h? Tumhari pregnancy due date bhi in dino ki thi...hospital chale?" Sumedh asked worringly. I shook my head. "Sumedh mujhe boht dard hoga...pta h phone pe Devaki ki cheekhe sun rhi thi mujhe!! Woh boht takleef me thi...me kese seh paunghi woh dard!?" I asked. "Esa kucch nhi hoga Love. Sab thik ho jaega. Tum kar loghi, I'm sure!" Sumedh said. He was trying to explain me but I was just crying. He cupped my face. "Sshh! Chup ho jao! Devaki ne twins ko janam diya islie uska pain bhi double tha. Tumhe ek baacche ko janam dena h. Tum kar logi. Life me itne dard sahe h tumne...khelte waqt kitne fractures hue...tumne woh dard sahe na?" He asked. I nodded. "Lekin Sumedh yeh dard usse kahi zada hoga!" I said. "I know...lekin me hu na tumhare saath. Baaki sab bhi honghe waha! Don't worry...sab thik se ho jaega. Bas tum rona band kro" He said and wiped my tears. I hugged him.

So? Liked the chapter? Couldn't really describe the labor pain and that stuff as mere saath abhi takk hua nhi h...but hope you guys enjoyed...
