Sumedh's POV
I was in my Lab, sitting, doing nothing. I was missing Bandana like hell. "Bas yaar...ab aur nhi hota" I thought and called her. "Sumedh kya hua? Aap thik ho na? Ese achanak call kiya?" She asked. "Haan baba thik hu me. Aaj lunch saath me kre?" I asked. "Lunch? Really?? Ofcourse!!!" She said excitingly. I smiled and ended the call.

I left for City Hospital. "Dr Bandana ka cabin kaha h?" I asked at the reception. "Yaha do Dr Bandana h...aapko konsi wali chahiye? Bandana Jassi ya Bandana Malhotra?" She asked. "Abhi takk Jassi h!?" I thought. "Umm, Bandana Jassi" I said. She nodded and told me the direction to Bandana'a cabin.

I knocked at the door as I reached the cabin. "Come in" She said. I entered. She was writing something on a file. She looked up as I entered. "Arey aapko knock krne ki kya zarurat thi!?" She asked with a cute smile. "Woh chodo. Ek baat btao, tum abhi takk Bandana Jassi ho? Naam change nhi karvaya?" I asked as I sat infront of her. "Mene apply kiya hua h, kucch mahine to lagte hi h na...change ho jaega" She replied. I nodded. "Chale?" She asked. I nodded and we left for the canteen.

I was talking to Bandana when I suddenly collided with a girl. I looked at her angrily. "Arey aap?" I said as I found there Sanjana. "Sanjana ji aap yaha kese?" I asked surprisingly. "Kucch tests karvane the...aap?" She asked. "Yeh meri wife h, Dr Bandana. Socha aaj iske saath hi lunch krlu" I said. "Bandana yeh Sanjana h" I said. "Woh wali Sanjana?" She asked. I gave her a nudge. "Haan" I said. She understood. "Nice to meet you" Bandana said without smiling. I controlled my laughter.

We finally left. Bandana and I sat on table and started having lunch.

"Yaar smile to kar leti" I said. "Ab usko me smile karke 'Hi-Hello' bolu?" She asked. I chuckled. "Tum to ese baat kr rhi ho jese woh mujhe tumse poori life k lie alag kar rhi ho" I said. She gave me a death glare. "Khana gaya ghuhiya k khet me! Mujhe nhi krni lunch!!" She said and stood up. I controlled my laughter. I held her wrist and made her sit again. Finally we finished lunch and I left for Lab.

*The next day...*
I was in the Lab when our Chief called me. "Ok Chief, ho jaega" I said and ended the call. "Siddharth, Chief ko Sanjana pe shakk h. Shayad uska haath h Karan k murder me" I said. "Par woh esa kese kar sakti h?" Siddharth said. "Yaar mujhe kya pta!? Woh abhi aa rhi h, tu uske blood aur saliva k samples le lena, test krna h" I said. "Me kyu? Tu jaa raha h kahi?" He asked. "Haan, Chief ne bulaya h...ek ghante me wapis aa jaunga" I said and left.

*An hour later...*
I was on the phone, talking to Bandana when I got back to Lab. I opened the door and went in. I was shocked to see what was happening. "What the eff??? Bandana I'll call you later" I said and ended the call before her answer. I couldn't believe on my eyes!

Bandana's POV
I went home and found Sumedh sitting on the couch, lost in his thoughts. "Hi Sumedh...kab aae aap?" I asked. "Bas kucch der pehle" He said. "Sorry, late ho gey" I said hugging him. He hugged me back. He was looking different. Usually he hugs me tightly and gives me a lecture when I'm late.

"Aap thik ho na?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "Sumedh...aapki tabiyaat to thik h na?" I asked in a low voice. He just nodded.

He sat on the couch. I looked at him. Finally I went to him and touched his forehead with the back of my hand. He smiled. He held my hand and made me sit on his lap.

He wrapped his arms around my waist. "Life itni mushkil kyu hoti h Bandana?" He asked. I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Aap esi baate kyu kar rhe ho?" I asked. "Kucch nhi...chodo. Tum thaki hui ho na? Jao jakar fresh ho jao" He said and made me stand up. "Arey par..." I said. He stood up. "Pehle btaiye kya hua h?" I asked holding his wrist. He took a deep breath. "Betho" He said. I sat on the bed and he rested his head on my lap. "Aaj...Lab me kucch esa hua...kese btau yaar?" He said. "Mujhe btane k lie itna kyu soch rhe ho aap?" I asked. He smiled.

*Flashback*
Sumedh's POV
I saw Sanjana lying on the couch. Siddharth was lying on her....he was...he was kissing her! I was totally shocked!! I didn't know what to do. And what was Siddharth doing!?
I gritted my teeth. I went to him and made him stand up. "Siddharth? Kya kar raha h tu??" I asked shaking his shoulders. He wasn't looking in my eyes. He was just trying to push me and go back to Sanjana. "Siddharth!!" I yelled and slapped him hard. That moment was like he came back to reality. "Kya-kya hua?" He asked. "Tu mujhse pooch raha h kya hua? Arey tujhe kya hua tha?" I yelled. He looked towards Sanjana. "Yeh...yaha? Ese? Kyu?" He asked confusingly. I looked at Sanjana. "You! Get out! Isse pehle k me tum par bhi haath uthau, nikal jao yaha se" I yelled at Sanjana.

She went. I was looking at Siddharth angrily. I didn't ask any explanation. I just left for home.

*End of flashback*
Bandana's POV
"Siddharth ne ese kiya? Lekin...aap mazak to nhi kar rhe na?" I asked. "Me esi baat pe mazak krunga?" Sumedh asked making a poker face. "To aapne Siddharth se poocha nhi unhone esa kyu kiya?" I asked. "Kya poochta? Tum hi btao! Bandana me ab bhi uss scene k bareme sochta hu to mujhe itni disgusting feeling aati h...poocho mat!" He said. "Pta nhi kya ho gaya tha usse. Bechari Devaki. Itna pyaar krti h usse, aur woh..." Sumedh said.
