All you needed were pens, the simple point 7 gel pens. Needing to go to Target, because it's one of the best places ever, Adam wanted to come along. In the back of your head, you were sure you were gonna buy much more than pens.

You and Adam entered the store, him holding your hand as always. Going though the second set of doors, you and Adam started walking down the big middle part of the store.

"Oh, we also need paper towels, bread, and shampoo." Adam announced grabbing a cart.

"And pens!" You reminded him. Adam nodded his head. "I came here for pens, Adam."

"I know, I know. You get what you need, and I'll get what I need." Adam started rolling the cart.

"Your definition of what you need seems very broad." You scoffed while walking beside the cart. Adam rolled his eyes.

"I meant the paper towels, bread, and shampoo." Adam said.

"Okay, but if you buy anything else I swear." You chuckled. The supply aisle was near you so you walked away from Adam.

"I'll be here!!" You called out disappearing into the shelves. "Okay!" Then Adam rolled the cart somewhere to where he wanted to go.

You started to look through the variety of pens. There were the simple ball point pens and even those decorative ones, but it's not what you're looking for.

But being distracted by the different office supplies, you almost took post-it notes, a binder, a notebook, and sharpie pens.

Your mind snapped you back into reality and remembered you only came to Target for one thing.

For some time you finally found the gel pens you wanted. It's only been 20 minutes and you wondered to where Adam went.

Taking the package of pens, you walked out of the aisle to go into the shampoo aisle, hoping to find Adam.

But, he wasn't there. So you went to go check the paper towel aisle that's all the way down the store. As you turned into the shelves, only a woman with her child were there.

The last place you checked was the food section. You entered the bread stand and no one was there.

"Where the hell..." You muttered to yourself walking in circles. Adam was no where, and you just knew he must've wandered off.

'Where could he be...' You thought going further into Target.

Down another corridor, you found the gaming section. Your mind clicked.

Fast walking to the Xbox section, you found Adam looking at the different games.

"Adam!!" You exclaimed at the end of the aisle. Adam turned around with wide eyes.

"Oh! Hey (Y/N)." He said casually with a smile. You rolled your eyes as you walked to Adam.

You peeked over the cart and Adam definitely got more than just paper towels, bread, and shampoo.

Inside the red plastic cart, there was also a pop figure, 2 graphic shirts, and some potato chips.

"Adam are you serious!" You slightly chuckled picking up one shirt. There was Iron Man on it.

"I got what I needed though!" Adam fought back. You trained putting the shirt back down.

"Me too, but I didn't get things I want." You put crossed your arms. Adam stuck his tongue out at you playfully. You did the same because you were that kind of girlfriend.

Adam sighed turning away from the game cases.

"Alright, I'm done anyways." Adam said grabbing the cart. You rolled your eyes putting your pens in the cart as he started to push.

You and Adam made it to the registers. As you were putting the unwanted things onto the conveyer belt, Adam saw your look.

"I may be a pain in the ass, but you love me." He laughed as you rolled your eyes.
