Dimitri point of view

Those pups were kept me back from her. I was shocked at first than proud. My mate, mine, had five five wolves. Sure they were only pups now but they were huge for pups. I wonder what kind they are. I made my mate angry. She made that clear. Her brother made his way over to me as she walked out.

"I don't know what you did but you my friend are in the dog house."

I looked at him, "The dog house? What does that mean?"

"It's a common term here. If you and her shared a house together you would be sleeping alone on the couch. Well where you sleep really depends on how pissed your wife is. However you don't share a house with her so outside it is. In cases like this it's best to act like a dog and beg forgiveness. Hint's the name in the dog house."

"I didn't do anything. This will-"

"It doesn't matter what you think you did or didn't do! You clearly did something in her mind and that isn't just going to go away! The longer you wait to apologize the more begging you'll be doing. You might get off easier though if you train with her tomorrow. She loves to kick the shit out of anyone and everyone when she's mad." He said over his shoulder as he started walking away.

"If that's ture why don't I just apologize now?"

He looked at me, "No woman will let you off that easy. You try that and you will most definitely wish you hadn't."

The other riders came over and patted me on the back. My first night here and already my mate was angry, I sighed softly. "Well at least you got a strong mate man. I mean five dire wolves! She has got to be a Beast!" All the riders were extremely interested in her since the found out the ' ice prince ' finally got his mate.

"Look man we'll help keep watch. You need to stay with Jade till your girl calms down. A couple of us can sit outside her window, and watch the doors."

Jade watched me with one eye. You are an ass.

"I am not."

Yes you are.

"Jade I am not an ass."

Oh, but you are. Otherwise you would be in that room with your mate. You fucked up an already fragile bond at a very critical time. You ran over thin ice when you should have treaded lightly. Each step a careful shifting of your weight but you fully step. You are the pup that shit on her floor and you will be begging for a very long time.

I stopped pacing and glared at her. "You think I do not know that? I do not know what I have done wrong and it is driving me crazy. You know what. I'm going to try and sleep maybe we will share dreams again." I curled into Jade's side. She was far from happy with me herself but she would not leave me to freeze to death in this cold land. It made no since. The sun was blistering hot during the day, leaving my body drenched in sweat, not that my mate seem to have many problems with it. Now the temperature seemed to drop to subzero.

Her body was not made for climates but would adjust in a few hours where I would take months to years. Jade's wings curled over my body leaving a the cold world away from me. I closed my eyes and reached out mentally for Diana's mind hoping that she was asleep. To my relief she was. My mind merged with hers before I too fell asleep.

"Oh wonderful! Your in my dreams again!" Diana's voice had taken on a hiss here. A warning perhaps of finely vailed anger. She had chosen a place lined with iron wood trees. Normally a very ugly tree and yet here they seemed to have a glow coming from within them. But then so did everything here. "Would you sstop gassssping at everything?" My mate was going annoyed with me. The river reflected and distorted her and the moon, and also kept the two of us apart. She looked different here than out in the real world.
