Farren was a lone wolf like me I met him during my early years in the Corps when I had an "accident" with some Vampires he was a Magister and also a warden of the other world. He was kicked out of his pack when they realized he could see into the Dim world a wolf saying for hell. Brad temperature dropped rapidly and he was shivering badly. I was worried very worried

"Brad I'm taking you to a friend's he can help" I whimpered looking into my mates eyes as I picked Brad up and set him in my car his eyes stared blankly forward I put my jacket around him. Jumped into my car and raced down the highway like a madman at last I reached Farren's house stopping the car pulling out the keys. Brad's eyes had glazed over look his body was burning up from fever I lifted him out of my car running up the driveway. Farren's house rested on top of a hill a small brick house with a fence that circled around it two windows and a large oak door. I leaped over the fence running up to the door ramming shoulder into it.

"Farren Get out here i need you" I howled my wolf breaking the surface my canines grew touching my bottom lip. A howl broke lose from my lips booming loudly and shattering a nearby light "FARREN!!!!" I growled furiously pacing Brad let out a weak whimper in my arms. I was about to break the door down when it open reveling Farren. He is one of those smaller built werewolves his limbs looked small and fragile compared to mine his snow white hair he falling into his eyes his bright lavender purple eyes glared into mine he looked no older the 20 but in fact he was 80 years old by human standards. His eyes pierced mine my wolf inwardly cringed he had control over dark forces. His pale skin matched his hair making Farren look almost ageless his lips scowling at me his pointed nose reminding me of a fox.

"Nico what the fuck are you doing at my house at this hour" Farren demanded his wolf was at the brink of lunging at me his canines had lengthened and sharpened his lavender eyes changing to a bright vivid green.

"MY MATE NEED YOU HELP!" I howled and rushed into the house turning to the right I was in the living room of Farren's house I laid Brad gently down on the couch Brad's breathing becoming uneven and raspy. Fear gripped my heart and adrenaline raced through my veins as Farren quickly moved to me side to examine Brad. His had moved quickly resting on Brad's forehead Farren quietly chanting a old wolf prayer that my eyes could not catch I kneeled next to Brad putting my lips close to his ear the words flowing out.

"Return to me

My dear never leave me again

Stay with me here forever

our paradise awaits on earth as we walk

come back to me

my heart will wait for yours until the end of time

though the wars we fight

the blood we shed will show

I am here forever more

never will I hurt you

we are each others

heart and souls

the perfect match

the part which cannot be broken nor bent but only strengthened" I whispered gently into my mate's ear

"Its a demon and a bad one Nico my old friend" Farren paused resting his hand on my shoulder soothingly.

"Can you do anything Farren?" I gasped feeling tears sting my eyes I held them back trying to be strong when I felt like I was falling apart again.

"He is human if I try anything he is not as strong s either of us he probably would not last through the treatment" Farren huffed I stiffened feeling the pain of loneliness rush toward me like it had so many times before. "Nico he will survive because I can sense something in him that makes him much different from other humans its puzzling I don't know what it is" Farren growled in frustration "This is one of the strongest demons I have ever encountered in a long time in a normal human by now they would be begging for death but he isn't his soul has so much fight left in it. It's remarkable he is still fighting Nico don't give up now" Farren growled to me my wolf immediately started to howl withen me with joy Brad was still fighting. "You need to help him" Farren said softly
