A Broken Heart...Healed?

Daniel, Devin, Kevin & I were relaxing in Kev's household. It was the first time I've ever been to his house. It was actually quite nice.
"Yoooo...I'm hungry.....", Daniel complained.
"You're always hungry😒🙄😒....", I corrected.
"Let's go get some chips & cookies from the corner store.", Dev suggested already getting up from Kev's bed.
"Sure...lets go.", Kevin agreed.

We all just kept joking & fooling around as we walked down Kevin's neighborhood.

We saw a woman with her huge dog walking by.
He kept growling & being rude.
"Awww...that's a cute little fella, don't u thin-, Hey!", Kev said before the dog tried to bite his finger off.
(Laughs) "He just tried to bite ur fing-

(Growls at Dev)

"Ok, ok. I get the deal man, chill....", Devin says taking a step back.
"I'm sorry...he really hates being around other people...", she states trying to pull him back by his collar.
Awww....he looks lonely......angry even........
"May I?", I asked the woman as I reach my hand out to try & pet him.
"Oh, I really...wouldn't?", the woman looked confused. Daniel, Devin, & Kevin did too.

I was on knees on the ground with my hand straight out ready to pet the poor thing.
"M-Melody?", Daniel blurted.
"Shh....", I said, without even looking at him.
My eyes were only focused on the puppy.
His growls grew bigger but when I touched his cheek, it grew quieter.
I looked deep into the dog's eyes. He stared calmly into mines.
I hugged him & started being all cuddly.
"Who's a good pup, huh? Who's the strong lil pup? You are, yes u are....", I said in a baby voice while playing with the dog. He kept licking my cheek & rubbing his head into my chest. It was cute.
"What the hell.....", the boys said in unison.

After a while, I let go of the pup & stood up.
"He's a keeper, trust me....he'll protect u.", I said to the woman as I walk off.

The boys stood frozen in place. But then ran after me.
"W-what was that?!", Devin asked.
"Are u some sort of dog whisperer or something?", Kev added.
"No....I just saw & felt it's pain....once I knew all he needed was love, I did what any animal lover would do...baby him.", I responded.
"Wait, u felt it's pain?", Daniel wondered.
"Y-yeah....I feel & see a lot of people's pains....mostly animals. And besides, I'm a wolf remember? Dogs & wolves are like distant cousins.", I added.
"Ohhhh......", they all said.
I rolled my eyes & we just kept going.😒😒😒😒😒

After arriving at the corner store, the boys went their separate ways. Wow.....I feel so safe with these guys🙄🙄🙄🙄............

I walked around & grabbed a bag of Cheetos & a bottle of Brisk: Iced Tea.
When I finished looking around, I payed for my stuff & headed outside to wait for the guys.

Kev, Dani, & Dev came out.
Finally! These guys are really....Wtf?!
I glance at the food & drinks the guys hand in their arms.
My eyes grew wide open.
Kev carried like 6 medium size bag of chips. Doritos, Hot Flamin' Doritos, Hot Flamin' Cheetos, regular Cheetos, Lays, & Sun Chips.
Dev carried 2 packs of cookies & 2 bags filled with candy.
Daniel carried like 6 bottles of sodas/juices....Sprite, Fanta, Cola, Sunburst, Brisk, & Dr. Pepper.

"And who the hell do u guys think is gonna eat & drink all this?!", I semi-yelled.
"Uhh...us?", Kevin responded.
"You'll blow up.", I stated.
"Maybe....but it's worth it!😝😝", Daniel commented.

We all head back to Kevin's house.

As we arrived, the boys already started to chow down on the snacks.
