A Broken Heart...Healed?

I didn't know what to do. Everyone was outside already. Even Errol was outside. I just stayed inside the underground tree...alone.

Suddenly, I heard cheering from upstairs or more like outside. What is going on?........
I started to walk slowly up the steps of stone & I finally made it to the door tree. I opened it slightly to see what was all the fuss about.
There, I saw a guy mostly in his teens, come back with a girl who also looked like she was in her teens.
"We're back everyone!", the girl cheered.
"And we came back with, this!", the boy also cheered. They both were carrying huge boxes filled with items.
The girl had brown curly short hair with red highlights & the boy had something unexpected on his hair. Daniel's hair.
It hasn't even been one day & there's already something to connect me to my old life.
I had to admit, he was kinda sexy. Maybe because, he looked a bit like Daniel with that hair. I mean, they had the same height, he is a bit more buff then Daniel, but only a little. And it looks like they're both famous with the ladies.
There were girls hovering all over him, all hyper & excited.
"Oh Joshua, your soooo brave to enter & steal from the humans.", one girl said.
"We've missed u so much, Joshua...", another one said. Just a wild guess here, his name is Joshua😒......

I glanced over to the girl. She was talking to Errol & I could hear their conversation:
"It's good to have u back, Azariah.", Errol said as Joshua walks to them.
"Thanks.", Azariah said.
"We are good to be back.", Joshua says.
"Now, there's someone I'd like u both to meet.", Errol stated looking towards where I was.
"And there she is....Come on out, Melody.", Errol says grabbing the attention of everyone. You had to say my name🙄.......
I slowly came out of the tree & walked toward where they were.
I had my hoodie over head & looked at the ground. My hands were in my hoodie's pockets & I could hear whispers.
"Damn, look at that ass.....", came from a group of guys.
"Never mind that, look at her boobs, they look even bigger with that hoodie.", another one exclaimed.
"You guys should be ashamed, can't u see she's shy & different?!", whispered/yelled a girl next to them.
I felt like I was walking for forever.

Finally, I came to a stop.
"Show your face Melody......", Errol said making me take off the hoodie over my head. I saw how Joshua & Azariah were dressed. Almost in full leather black clothing. But, Azariah had on a grey tank top with black leather pants & a pair of black combat boots.
Joshua had on a black long sleeved shirt, rolled up to his elbow, black leather jeans, & some Timberland's boots.
Everyone was saying, "She's beautiful", or "Gorgeous". They all went back to their chatting.
"Wait.....isn't this the so said savior in the childhood story, "Anahita"?", Azariah asked.
"Yes.....she finally agreed to fight with us in the war against the Potens.", Errol exclaimed.
"Really? Where's the proof?", Azariah asked.
"Show her your necklace, Melody.", Errol said.
I took out the necklace that was hung over my neck. It was hidden underneath my hoodie.
They both had shocked faces, but then went back to normal.
"Not only that, but, the night u were out, Azariah, she glowed blue eyes....she's the true princess.", Errol stated. I put my necklace back underneath my hoodie.
"Oh...ok! Hey, my name's Azariah! I hope we can be friends.", she said cheerfully.
"This is Joshua. He's the one who brung u to us that night.", Errol stated, pointing towards Joshua.
"Hey....nice too see u still alive.", he says.
"Y-yeah....I am.", I said shyly.
"Never mind Joshua, come with me! Let's see if u can find something that u like in the stash that we stole!", Azariah suggested taking my hand & leading me to the stash.
Joshua stayed behind talking to Errol.

"Soooo, see anything u like?", Azariah asked.
"No....not yet. Do u guys steal from stores?", I asked.
"Yeah. Only the essentials like clothing & shit like that. Water, soap, towels, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brushes & items that the kids will love like dolls & cars. See, every once in awhile, Errol would send me & Joshua out into the human world & gather as much as we can. Just because we're wolves doesn't mean we get to live like savages. And besides, I don't know what I'll do if I didn't have a phone & nail polish.", she said whispering the last part.
I chuckled.
"Wait, phones? Everyone has a phone?", I asked curiously.
"Yeah. Only me & Joshua get to have phones because we're the most trusted & strongest of the pack. And besides, when we're on a mission, Errol can call us & explain what is our task."
"Mission?"
"Yeah, Errol sends only the wolves that are willing to fight & protect the pack on missions to kill some Potens. We can't win the war if they're numbers are increasing, right?", she responded.
"Yeah...that's true.", I answered.
"Besides, the best part is.....that we can travel around the United States, isn't that fun?!"
"Yeah, I guess. But u guys have to walk?", I asked.
"Yeah, some...but only when the mission is close by. Now, Errol sends only me or Joshua with a car to do farther away missions. Maybe when u are stronger, u can come with us! 😜 We can, eat, listen to music, talk about boys😏.....& also, make fun of Joshua!", she suggested. I laughed.
"Thanks, I'll be looking forward to that.", I said.
I keep listening to Azariah & see if I can find something that I like.
