A Broken Heart...Healed?

First Change

It's been 2 weeks now, I've been settling in my new "cottage". Home is other words, and I've been writing a lot in my journal.
And mostly just spending time alone & separate from the pack.
Azariah comes & visits me once in a while though.
We've been growing into friends.
I've haven't started my training yet, but, I am doing a little exercise to pump me up.
Oh! And the pack officially named me, "The Lone Wolf".🤗 I was kinda happy that they did because, I thought that I was going crazy believing that I wasn't.
Errol was kinda upset that I wanna fly a bit solo but, not that much since he knew I was still going to train, protect & change with the pack.

Ugh! The full moon is tonight.😒
It's the first full moon where I get to change into my wolf self.
The pack is supposed to change together on a full moon.
And apparently, Errol will guide me through the entire night.
Azariah said that she was going to be with me, so that's a bit more comforting.
But....she did say Joshua was going to be there sooo......I don't know.

I just came back from taking a bath, & now, I'm going to change.
I changed into a pair of black ripped jeans, a pair of white converses that Azariah got (stole) for me, a long sleeved black shirt that sticks to my body, & I decided to put my sweater around my waist, another thing that Azariah got (stole) for me.

I put my hair in a ponytail & opened the floor door.
I had to pass down some really mean branches & then climbed down the tree.
I grabbed an apple from it & midway down the tree, I let go & landed on my own to feet.
I wanted to practice landing skills, so, why not just do it from a tree?
I walked a few & then arrived at the waterfall.
It was close enough to my cottage so, it was easy to get here.

I dipped the apple into the stream & then bit into it once it was clean.
After finishing my apple, I got up from the rock that I was leaning on & headed towards where everyone else in the pack was.

(10 minutes later)

I arrived at the campsite & everyone was outside putting things away & putting things out.
What is going on here?...........
I saw Azariah putting some fruit into a basket.
"Hey.", I said going towards her.
"Hey! How'd u sleep?", she asked me putting down the basket of fruit.
"Fine....um.....what's going on here?", I asked turning my head from side to side to see everyone doing something.
"We're getting ready for tonight.", she responded picking up a basket.
I took it from her & started picking some berries from a bush.
"No, I can do that! You can just relax.", she told me trynna take the basket from me.
"No, it's ok. I wanna do something to help. Now, is it always such a fuss when there's a full moon?", I stated finally having control over the basket as she finally gave up trying.

(Sighs)

"It's not a big deal as it may look....we are just trying to reorganize things so that when we turn, we won't make a big mess.", she said.
Dirty berry, dirty berry, clean berry, clean berry, dirty berry, clean berry......
I was picking off all the clean berries & putting them into the basket while the dirty ones, I throw them on the side.
"Oh.....yeah, we won't have control over our bodies, will we?", I asked.
"We will. Just not entirely for beginners. Once u know how to connect with your wolf self, you'll work as one with your body & u will have control over what you'll do. Now, for kids & beginners that's a bit more difficult to do, but, their parents or guardian is supposed to help them control it. But, don't worry, Errol, Joshua, & I will be there for u.", she stated giving me a warm smile.
"Will the pack be all together?", I asked.
"Uh, no. We will be in different groups. Family's may wander off together with their kids & we won't see them 'till morning. But, we do turn together so, everyone will be in this area when the moon rises.", she clarified.
"Oh......u-uh......one more thing......does it hurt, like when u turn?", I asked kinda worried that I might die before morning.
"You get this strange feeling in your body & then this headache at first but, it'll calm down at some point, so don't worry.", she said.
Kinda hard not to when your whole body will be covered in fur......
"Where do your clothes go though?", I asked.
"That's the mystery right there. We don't know, we usually just wake up fully clothed like nothing happened.....but it's better then waking up naked in public, am I right?😜", she chuckled.
"Yeah.....that be embarrassing😳......", I added. What if u wake up naked because it's my first time......I'll be so embarrassed😔😕😕........
