"Woah McKenzie!" Seth laughed as he saw me pull up into the parking lot with Brock's truck.

"Can't I drive?" He raised his eyebrow with his eyes shining.
"Do you want to die a slow painful death at the hands of my Beast? " I smiled .
"If anyone is going to damage this truck its you sis" he shook his head as he walked around the front.
"I have driven this truck quite a few times, trust me I can manage!"
He rolled his eyes and hopped into it.
I laughed and pulled away onto the road as we were meeting our mom for lunch. He had flown in later as he had a meeting to get to first.
I had had an amazing morning with Brock, it felt like the past few months of hurt, not just from him , of everything , didn't exist.
It proved to me that I knew why I couldn't leave because he showed me that no matter what happened. He was and would always be my Beast that I fell in love with when it came down to it.
Just because he was my Beast didn't mean that he didn't get to be flawed and if those flaws couldn't be exposed to me , his wife, then who else?
"You nervous?" I heard Seth and nodded.

"I would rather not be doing it, I mean I told her I forgave her. She ate lunch with Brock and I spoke about some things that was enough , I don't need more.." I answered honestly I wasn't going to pretend to be excited, he knew me so there was no point in lying to the person who cared about me just as much as Brock did.
"Then why fly her out?" I felt his eyes on me.
"Brock, he still believes I need her in my life. That I will regret not maintaining some sort of relationship. I have been without her for so long, I said horrible things to her which she deserved which I am not apologizing for. I honestly just don't feel like going into town and sitting with her pretending like my life wasn't horrible growing up to be a failure in their eyes" I shook my head.
