Chapter 61

"So I will be seeing you soon then?"

I smiled at Steve as he dropped me off at the gym.

"Yes, I'm happy to see you in good spirits"

"I'm seeing my husband, if that isn't a reason to smile I'm not sure what is "

He laughed and hugged me before I hopped out.

"Give that fucker a hug from me!" He called out and I nodded before giving a wave as he pulled away.

This gym had become unbearable to think about over the last few months as each time I had come to surprise my husband he had been fighting and well drunk.

When I came here last weekend it was the first time it had been a different case. He was fighting yes but more training than anything which made me happy and now I knew what I would be expecting once I walked in.

My husband working hard to get in the best shape of his life to defeat a guy named Mark Hunt. I had yet to see the guy, I guess I was afraid he was some mammoth and while I believed in my husband I was afraid of the collisions that would occur.

I quietly opened the door to see it filled with about twenty men fighting all over and of course I easily spotted my husband as he was seated watching them.

I didn't move from my spot yet as I didn't want to disturb them and I guess he had to focus on their techniques and observe them..

After his ESPN interview , he had flown back home to get back into training. I would have liked for him to be with me but I knew he was more comfortable training out here. So I wouldn't ask him to and make him feel obligated to please his wife, I was happy that he had invited me to the interview as I wasn't sure how he dealt with business outside of the WWE. I knew normally when dealing with his sponsorships he and Paul would often fly all over while I remained at home not trying to be in his way but he made sure I was included this time.
