Brock has been in the city with me the entire week.
After the weekend I hadn't wanted him being alone and made up the excuse of him being needed for a photoshoot which Paul had actually made possible after I mentioned it .
Which is why we were currently driving over to the studio for a Muscle and Fitness Shoot.
I felt his hand moving back and forth on my thigh and I rested my head on his shoulder as he stared out of the window taking in the views of a city he hadn't been in in awhile.
"He misses the farm" I whispered as I watched Beast while sitting on the floor as Brock came out of the room.

"Well yeah I guess but I'm flying back on Wednesday morning so.."
"Why?" I frowned as I figured he would just stay with me like he had been for the past couple days .
"I can't leave the property alone for so long, there are workers every day and my parents are out of town" he whispered and I nodded slowly.
He then sat down next to me and kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes, enjoying it briefly .
"My mom asked me one day what I was thinking going for someone so young" he voiced as we watched Beast, surprising me.
"Didn't she like me?"
"It was in the beginning before she even met you but just listen" I smiled as his face told me it was something good.
"I don't even remember all I said but I knew that you were strong even though you seem like you couldn't hurt a fly. You are strong and I liked that you could be just that with me and that you believed I played a part in it.. I didn't, you know. I know I put you through a lot over these last few months , but you're still here and that's all I could ever ask for McKenzie."
I smiled and slowly leaned in and kissed him as he pulled me onto his lap .
I smiled at the guys as they introduced themselves while I stuck close to Brock. Not because he seemed tense or jealous but because I just wanted him as much as I could before he would be flying out tomorrow.
He hadn't remembered his outburst when he woke up the next day. It scared me a bit, not in the sense that he might hurt me but that I didn't understand what was going on inside his head. He seemed so certain that I was with Dean in the garage which made me wonder if he had even attended a live event or if it was just going on in his head.
