I see Shane leaning on a tree.

"Shane!?" I shout over to him, he looks at me before looking away again. I sigh and walk over to him. "Hey babe."

"What do you want?" He snaps at me.

"Hey. No need te' bite my head off, I ain't done nuthin'." I snap back.

"You didn't bother sticking up for me back in there! Why's that huh?"

"What wa' I supposed te' say Shane! 'Hey leave Shane alone, he ain't done nuthin' he jus' did what he thought wa' right.'"

"Yeah you could of said that."

"Well I didn't think it wa' right, so I ain't gon' stick up fer ye' if I thought what ye' did wa' wrong."

"So instead you sat and watched, didn't bother sticking up for me like I did for you with Jamie!"

"Tha' is completely different an' ye' know it."

"I still stuck up for you! You just wanted to laugh! I bet as soon as I left you started laughing!"

"I didn't laugh thank you very much." I say while gritting my teeth so I wouldn't snap anymore.

"Oh no? What was that back there then?"

"That was me smirking. Not laughing, there's a difference."

"You was smirking cause you wanted to laugh. I'm not stupid Megan, so stop treating me like I am."

"Woah hold your horses. I never said you was stupid and I ain't treating you like you are cause I know you're not stupid."

"Yeah well your actions say different."

"Seriously Shane? I thought it was funny that Hershel told you off, so sue me. You don't need to be biting my head off."

"Bet you wouldn't have laughed if it was Daryl."

"What?"

"You would of stuck up for him too."

"What's Daryl got to do with this?"

"Oh come on, he's the dad to your kids. You still clearly care for each other, if it was him you would of stuck up for him. You wouldn't of laughed at him!"

"This again? Shane I told you yesterday, me and Daryl are just friends. I'm with you not him, can't you understand that?"

"You know what? Just forget it."

"Shane, I-" He walks away. "Oh come on babe." I shout to him.

"Screw you Megan!" I see Andrea go after him, I roll my eyes and sigh.

"Didn't go too well huh?" I hear Rick ask.

"You could say that."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"He got grumpy that I didn't stick up for him when Hershel had a go at him, he didn't like the fact I thought it was funny then he brought Daryl into it."

"Sounds like fun, what did he say about Daryl."

"Said that if it was Daryl getting shouted at then I would of stuck up for him, I wouldn't of laughed. He says I care for him more than I do Shane, he did the same yesterday after what Jamie did."

"Well do you?"

"What?"

"Care for Daryl more than Shane."

"Me and Daryl are just friends, why does everyone think we're gonna end up together." Rick laughs at me.

"I think they all figured it out when they met you, plus I think we've all seen how you both look at each other. You both may act like you don't care about each other but your actions say different, they're all gonna think it more so now."
