   |Leilani|

The Christmas Ball was in two weeks. And it was meant for the older students, thus, Dumbledore made an exception this year. Bilmey, is he joking? No. Anyone twelve or older who is asked to the dance will attend, if you under twelve can not go. Which meant first years. I was technically a first year, but I wasn't as of age. Dumbledore said third year to seventh year attend the dance automatically, and second years are to be asked to come to the ball. I knew with my friends I would get picked, mostly the Weasley twins or Percy. I felt bad for my friends--the first years. I waited for the twins or Percy to ask me to the dance. It was a matter of time.

But, today, Dumbledore had asked me to his office and thus, bring Harry with me.  I found Harry on the couch by the fire and I asked him to come with me to Dumbledore's office. Once we got there, we sat in chairs at his desk.

"What is going on, Professor?" Harry asked Dumbledore.

"I have asked you to come because I have a story to tell." He smiled. "Be ready." We nodded. "Twelve years ago, a woman was raped by a man. She has passed away since that time, thus the man is still alive with his own family. He had received a little girl two years ago to come live with him."

"Professor, what does it have to with me?" Harry asks him. He is such a Gryffindor.

"I was about to tell you that part. Leilani, here is a half-blood like yourself. Thus, I have asked for you because the woman in the story is your mother, Harry. The father in the story is Leilani's father. You mother was raped before she married your father. Leilani was born months before that wedding appeared."

I saw Harry was stunned and he didn't speak.

"Harry, I know this is a shock to you. But, you are happy to have a sister now."

Harry turned towards me. "Who is he, Lei?"

"She must not tell you until she is ready or when she feels you are ready to hear it." Harry nods to uncle and I say yes.

We left for the common room, Hermione and Ron were waiting for us on the couch. We sat with them and decided to tell them what we learned. Mostly Harry, honestly.

"Harry and I are half siblings. Dumbledore just told us. I knew my mother's name but only her maiden last name. He had told me I had half brother before I came back to Hogwarts. That's why I am twelve and not eleven. He wanted me to be here at the same time, so it wouldn't be awful as finding I am older by a year."

"I knew something was off when we first met right after the sorting. You two look similar to each other. Not the eyes, those are different. Leilani, who is your father?"

"She can not tell us, Hermione. That part is until she is ready." Harry kissed my cheek like Draco has done. "Goodnight---Leilani." He wraps me in a hug. "I finally have a sister." He let's go of me and heads to the boys dorm with Ron.

The Christmas Ball was in a week. Percy and the twins didn't ask anyone yet. I was sitting on the couch and heard them coming from the boys dorm, talking.

"Come on, Perc, she can not go out with you. You're in fifth year. She's a first year." Fred says, sitting next to me.

"She's only in first year because Dumbledore asked her to. She is twelve, not eleven. Thus, I've known her longer than you have." Percy tells his brothers.

"Perc, do you have a girlfriend?" He shakes his head. "Are you sure? Because if you do, I don't want the girl to toss you off after she sees me with you at the ball."

"He likes someone, though. She isn't his girlfriend yet." George tells me.

"Percy ask her to the ball. It's alright. I'll go with George or Fred." Percy nods and kisses her cheek.

"Which of you likes a girl?" Fred raised his hand. "Georgie?" He shakes his head. "Were the three of you gonna ask me to the ball?" George nodded. "You're too sweet, Georgie."

"Leilani, will you go to the ball with me?"

"Yes, Georgie. I'd love to." I snuggled closer to him and his arm went around me.

I had gone with Georgie, Fred, Percy and his girlfriend to the dress shop for a gown. It took two hours for me to find a dress, Georgie had to approve of a dress before I bought it. It was a purple long lace with gems going down like rain. (Pic below).

It was time for the ball, but I was meeting George in the common room beforehand

It was time for the ball, but I was meeting George in the common room beforehand. The girls were excited that I was going to the ball with a third year. The George Weasley. I thought nothing of it, because he was just George to me. I walked down to the Common Room where he was waiting for me there by the entrance of the portrait door.

"Hello, gorgeous!" Georgie says, as he kisses my hand.

"Georgie, please." I blushed.

We went out to the ball in The Great Hall, we had entered and stood with Fred, his date, Percy and his date. I didn't know them at all. George said it was alright, they were in their years. He asked me to dance first, to a muggle song. "Lost in Your Eyes" by Debbie Gibson. I had heard about her in some books of muggle music records. George and I swayed to the music, our eyes locked and he leaned closer to me.

"May I kiss you, Lei?" He asks, smiling. "I would ask you because we're close." I nod.

He leans closer than he had been, our lips touched and it was short sweet one. Like George.

Fred had the next dance, we talked and laughed. He said I was beauitful. After that, Percy had a dance with me, his girlfriend didn't mind.

"You are stunning, Leilani. I wish Bill and Charlie were here to see you." He freezes in his words. "You're growing up and the most beauitful one here." Percy kisses my hand after the song was over.

After a few more dances with George, Percy and Fred. It was now 10 and the ball wasn't over till 11. George decided to take me out of The Great Hall and to the Courtyard. We walked outside and he arms wrap around my waist. He kissed me again and it was sweet again like the last one.

"I hope you don't say no, but I have wanted to ask you---"

"Yes, George. I'll go out with you." Another kiss, but it was better than the sweet ones.

"Let's go, love." He wraps his arm around me as we walk inside to our common room.

Inside our common room, we sat by the fire and cuddled close to each other. It was 10:30.

"Lei, I don't want word getting around about us. No one knows your real age except for us lot. You don't need drama, love."

"Then let's go to sleep before the others come back." We got up from the couch and he walked me to the stairs that led to the Girls dorm.

"Goodnight, love." Georgie kissed me on the lips again.

"Goodnight, Georgie." I smile and kiss his cheek. "Thank you for a wonderful night. I'll see you in the morning." I walk up the stairs and he stands there watching me.

I head for bed and a good night sleep.
