Chap 19: The Wedding

It was October 23rd. Kastor's 19th birthday. Our wedding day is today! We had the wedding at Hogwarts. When school is happening...
Ginny, Luna, Pansy, Astoria, and Hermione were all bridesmaids. Draco, Harry, Goyle, Blaise, and Theodore were all groomsmen. Kingsley was officiating the wedding. My son was a ring bearer. Artimis was in Molly's lap. Harry and Draco were walking me down the aisle. Draco hadn't told father that I was getting married. Best not to tell him.

"Leilani, I have loved you since the day we met on the train coming here to Hogwarts. I knew that day that we were to be together forever. I'll love all of my days. Forever." His vows to me.

"I knew I had fallen in love with you after that first Christmas. It's been us and it always will be us. I have loved you since then and always will." My vow to him.

After an hour, I was married to Kastor. Finally after nine years together, we were officially married. The party started, Kastor and I danced. Then, Harry and I. Draco asked for one. Theodore did after Drake. Billy did also. Charlie had after him. All the boys had gotten a dance. I noticed things had stopped. Drake stared, his eyes wide. I turned and found father in the hands of Kingsley.

Harry had told Kingsley something, then he let go of my father. I couldn't hold it any longer.

"Father!" I ran to him and in his arms. "Daddy! Oh, daddy." I started to cry.

He kissed my forehead and whispered, "I am so sorry, baby girl. I never meant to hurt you. Please forgive me?" He had tears in his eyes.

"I always will, daddy." I lean into his cheat.

We danced for a song. We talked and he smiles. He kisses my cheek and smiles again. After the song was over, I kissed Father's cheek.

Harry came over and handed a stone in my hand. "McGonagall found it in The Forbidden Forrest. You know--" The Recturection Stone. "Snape." Harry mouthed.

I nod and closed the stone in my hands. I thought of Uncle. He appeared on the dance floor. Everyone was in shock. No one moved. It was Severus Snape, the potions teacher.

"Uncle." He sees me and smiles. He could tell it was a wedding.

"My Little Leilani. A wedding? Yours?" I nod. "A dance, I suppose?" I nod again.

I dance with Uncle's favorite song. He laughs. A laugh no one had ever heard. Except for me, of course.

"I am sorry, Leilani. I only did it to protect everyone. You and Harry, especially." Tears were already down my face. "Do not cry, Little Leilani." I dry my tears. "You look so much like your mother." He smiled.

"Uncle--" I was crying again. "I need you, Uncle."

"You do not need me anymore, Leilani. I love you." The song was over.

"I love you too, Uncle." He kissed my forehead. I didn't feel it.

  Mostly of everyone, wanted to see Uncle, but he could not stay long.

"Be good. Remember that, Little Leilani."

"Always, Uncle. Always." He smiled and nods.

Draco and Harry say goodbye and he said goodbye. I let go of the stone. I was crying and Kastor was holding me, so I could not fall on my knees. Kingsley was trying to arrest Father and Harry kept Kingsley off of him.

"You do not need to, Kingsley. This Leilani's wedding." Harry told him.

Father came over and held me in his arms. "It is alright, Leilani. He did it. It is his fault. Annoying--"

"Father, please don't say anything you'll regret. Uncle Severus did what was right. After mother was killed, he changed for good. Why I must be really close with him. He never showed his anger or insult anyone with me around. Till I had come back for first year, he made sure he was lightening his attitude. I hadn't mind the way he acted with the other students."

"Baby, you remember he betrayed the The Dark Lord."

"Well, he wouldn't have if only Mother wasn't killed! I am proud Uncle did what was right. He realized the truth and worked for Dumbledore!" Everyone was looking at us.

"Father, go home. You should not have said anything." Draco wrapped his arm around me.

Kastor met with my father. "Sorry, Mr. Malfoy, I do not think your welcome is best here."

Father tried to walk away, but I pulled him close to me. "I'm sorry, father. I yelled at you. I only wanted you to know what no one has ever known."

"I am sorry, my baby."

Father stayed and more dances happened. Kastor and I cut the cake. A muggle tradition. More dances and fun. It was time to go on my Honeymoon. Kastor had it has a surprise.

"Where in Merlin are we going?"

"A surprise, love." We used a Portkey to some place. Bloody hell!

It was Hawaii. I could not believe it! Kastor was bringing me here...

"I love you, Athena." He kissed my forehead.

"I love you too, Kas."
