Chap 20: Kastor's Party

         Kastor wanted to throw a party in our manor. His Slytherin friends. Even my brother. My friends; Harry, Ron, Mione, Ginny, Luna, Neville, Dean and Seamus.
He had put our children to bed in their rooms. We played games. Mostly getting drunk. I hadn't drank. It was too much for me.

Kastor had kissed me after a few shots of firewhiskey.

"I lo-ve y-ou, Athena."

"I love you too, Kastor."

We had dance games and just went wild.

It was an amazing party, until a few hours into the party, my husband was missing. No one knew where he went, there had been a scream. Astoria. We all ran up the stairs, Harry had pulled me away from looking into the room.

"Please, Harry. I must see him. He has to be alright." Draco slowly nods to Harry. Everyone moved away from the door. I walked to the door.

A body laid on the floor. Kastor! "NO!" I ran and kneeled over my husband. "PLEASE! THIS CAN NOT BE HAPPENING! NO! Someone help PLEASE!!" Tears going down my face.

A wand stuck at my throat. "Look at the mudblood. My brother married you and he could have anyone he wanted. No, he chose the Mudblood! The ginger Mudblood!" It was Hades, Kastor's younger brother.

"Expelliarmus!" It was Draco's voice. Hades wand flew out of his hand. "She isn't a mudblood. She's a half-blood. Kastor chose Leilani because he loved her."

"I was jealous of him. He got everything from my family. I hadn't gotten a thing. The only way to get all of this, was to kill him! I succeeded! I killed my brother."

Harry came in and arrested Hades. They had gone to the Ministry. I cried more to the thought of Hades killing my husband. Blaise and Gregory laid Kastor on the bed. I laid next to my husband, crying and holding his cold hand.

"No one will ever take your place, Kas. No One! No matter who tries to be next, I will not let them."

I had fallen asleep. I was in a white background and it looked like our manor. Kastor was standing next to me.

"Kastor--" My eyes blurred.

"Love. Oh, my Athena! My Lani. Oh, Thena!" He wraps his arms tightly around my body.

"Kas, what happened?"

"My brother showed up in our bedroom. His wand at me and before I could call for Draco or Harry. He killed me. Hades never said a word." He kissed her cheek. "Love, listen to me." I nod. "I want you to love someone else. Love someone, Lani. They will make you happy. When the time is right, marry them."

"No! No one will be in your place. I don't need anyone else. You have been it since we met. You can't leave now!" I started to cry. "Please, Kastor! Don't go!!"

"Tell the children I love them." He kissed my forehead. "I love you, Athena. Remember that, Lani. Always remember us. For our children. Our son, Kastor. For our daughter, Artimis. Promise me, you will, love?" He kisses my cheeks.

"Yes, Kastor. I will. I promise." I didn't want to let him go.

"I had known Hades was coming. Mother had heard it once and she came to warn me. If it had happen, make a will for my wife and children." He kisses my lips. "I love you, Athena. Always."

"I love you, Kastor!" He kissed my lips one last time. I didn't feel it that time.

I had awoke and lean against his chest as I felt nothing under it move nor a breath. He was gone. My husband was gone! I cried some more.

"Come back, Kastor! Please!!" I had cried again.

Blaise came into the room, he tried to take me out of the room and downstairs. But, I did not want to leave my husband's side. Goyle, even tried to wrestle me out of the bed. He won. We went downstairs, Gregory let me go and another arms took me. I knew those arms. Georgie! He held me like a little girl's daddy would.

"How does it feel? Losing the one closest to you? The only one who knows everything?" I whispered in his ear.

"For awhile, you feel like you're nothing and you have something missing. Then, you realize you can never have them back. You can not change the past."

"Oh, Georgie! I do not know what to do."

"I'll help, Lani. It's alright." He held me closer in his arms.
