Chap 6: Draco's Deal

     I have since become friends with Hermione and the black haired boy named Harry Potter. George and Fred sent owls to Bill and Charlie to tell them that I was at Hogwarts now as a student. It took awhile for some letters to get back to the twins because they lived so far away.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Neville, Dean, Seamus, Parvati and I sat around in the couches and love seats by the fire a week after the twins sent the owls to Bill and Charlie. A knock on the windows indicated that owls where outside. The owls flew to me and dropped the letters on my lap.

"Bill and Charlie sent Lei letters. Our other little sister." George says, laying a hand on Lei's shoulder.

"Oh Merlin, I'll have to read these later." I placed the letters in my robe.

"Lei, Bill says you have to read them in front of us." Fred pulled robes from her robe.

"Fine." She took the letters from Fred.

     How have you been? We have missed you. Does Hogwarts seem different to you now that you're living on the other side of Hogwarts? Percy doing well as Perfect? The twins keeping their pranks under control?  Hope Ron is fitting in well too.
   Come to The Burrow for Christmas.  Mother could enjoy having you with us. If it's alright with who you are living with now.
   I know you will do well in the classes, even Potions. I hope there are no boys asking you yet. Because I will tell them off and keep them away from you. Your big brother will always protect you from daft blokes--like Slytherins.
  Always owl if you need anything. Alright?  Love you

"Well, he didn't owl us asking how we're doing. He asks Leilani for us." George nudges me in the arm.

"Sure, Georgie. I'll write Bill later." Putting William's letter in my robe and opened Charlie's letter.

Charlie's letter said much of the same as Bill. He asked me if Hogwarts was the same to me as when I was running around as a little girl. To also owl him if I needed some help.

              Leilani,

      Once Fred and George told me the news, I was so happy. You hadn't talked to us in two years. But, we thought you couldn't receive any owls. We wished you had been with us since you came over that one Christmas.
    Thus, I wish I had gotten to know where you lived, but I am not like that.
How is Hogwarts treating you, little sister? I hope the boys aren't any trouble, except for Percy.
    You should come by for Christmas this year. Oh, it is possible I might not be home. Though, the others might.
    Have you had any daft blokes ask you out yet? Because if they do, I'll tell them off and bloody hell, they will regret it.
   Owl me if you need anything. Love you, little sister.

"Charlie-Bear? I've never heard that name in my life." Fred spoke as he read the letter.

"Really, Frederick? It's between Charlie and I. When I was living here, your brothers were my friends. The ones I had been around the most. Eventually, I had given him the name because when he always carried me or hugged me, he was almost like holding a teddy bear in your arms. It stuck with him til Dumbledore sent me to live away from the castle."

"Does Bill have a nickname, too?" George asked, as Fred sat deeply in his seat.

"Billy, mostly. When I was about three, he played animals with me and some other students were older than him at the time. He usually played tiger cause of his ginger hair. But, you hadn't heard it from me."

The next night after classes, I was walking to Gryffindor Tower when I saw two large blokes, Slytherin precisely more known as Crabbe and Goyle. They walked towards me and I followed the wall until my back was firmly against it. I was a little scared, though I didn't show it.

"Crabbe. Goyle." His voice echoed down the hall. "I'll take it from here. Go on."

"Yes, Malfoy." They both ran down to the dungeons.

"Drake, what are you doing?" I ask my half-brother, shockingly.

"I wanted to see you, Lei. You mustn't be avoiding me and how awful it would be if Father heard his little girl wasn't talking to her baby brother?"

"Sorry, Drake. I am in the Gryffindor House and I don't want others to think differently of us. And it will not be good for me either. My identity might be blown off if we're seen together."

"I wouldn't be seen with you during the day." He saw my wet eyes. "I meant we can't been seen together in light. How about after classes and once people are in the common room?"

"Alright, Drake. But, if we get--"

"Make a deal with me, Lei?" I nod. "We spend time like this the whole year and I get to harass Potter as much as I like. And you can't stop me." I sigh.

"You win. You are taking that vow with Father a little bit much, don't you think?"

"No. Thus I miss spending time with my own sister. Is that too much to ask, bloody hell."

"Tomorrow night? Where?"

"There's two hours between dinner and curfew. How about in the courtyard? No one is here after dinner."

"Fine. Right after dinner. Tomorrow." I looked quickly around us. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight Draco."

"Goodnight Leilani." He kissed my cheek.

The next night, which was Friday night, and everyone had finished dinner. Leilani sneaked away to the hall and went out in the courtyard. Draco had finished dinner before, so it wouldn't look like something was going on.

"Drakey, are you sure the courtyard will be a very good place to meet?"

"I dare say, not.  Maybe we can find a broom closet to share." I smacked his head. "Bloody hell, Lei!" He saw the hurt in my eyes. "I am sorry. It was only a joke. Where can we go?"

"We'll figure it out, Draco. Don't worry. Let's go in before it's curfew."

Draco walked with me till the hallway before Gryffindor Tower lead to the common room. He kissed my cheek and said goodnight. I did the same and had gone off to the Common Room.

Fred and George were sitting on the couch by the fire and they waved and I said goodnight. George waved his wand at me and I floated to them. They demanded for a kiss Goodnight and to sleep well. I got up the stairs to the girl's dorms and to my room for bed.

Hermione and the others were asleep. It's not curfew yet. I climbed into bed and dreamed of sweet dreams.
