When the Poet Meets the Song Writer

09 June 2010

They say when a poet meets a song writer

None of them can become a singer

Both of them in antiquity will linger

For in sadness, they cry a river.

One day, the poet meets the song writer

They were peeping with each other

Curious with the work of a composer

Taking chances, sigh in the clandestine summer.

The poet and the song writer dated sooner

Both admired their pieces as a writer

Both were inborn poetasters

In verses they duet like fine singers.

When the poet and song writer worked together

They can compose all night or longer

When tired, they can rest in a shoulder

When slumber, cuddle like amidst winter.

They were sharing the lines in a discreet corner

They can compose the best songs of forever

Together, they can't be any happier

When the poet meets the song writer.
