There was little talk as we marched, one thought on all our minds, could we claim Moria as ours once more? We knew the enemy had gotten here first and that we were fighting against the White Orc Azog. I had heard about him, a brutal beast swore on wiping the line of Durin out. But today he would find out that the line of Durin is not so easily beaten.

"Sire, I think it best I help you from above. If you know what I mean, I believe I can be of more use to you from there."

"Understood, but if you desert your position, I will find you. Take this as your warning" Thror said darkly

"I understand."

From the sky, I could see the hordes of orcs swarming out of Moria. It seemed endless, and I couldn't believe that there could be so many orcs in one place. Finding I could see both parties from where I circled I made sure to keep an eye on Thorin.

Everything came to a standstill as both sides faced each other, each side trying to decide whether or not to attack first. Deciding to make the first move I dived towards the enemies front line with a loud yell, setting the orcs on fire as I flew past them. This causing howls and angry cries from the orcs and cheers from the dwarves.

We charged forwards killing anything that wasn't an ally, I assisted from above setting fire to nearby orcs and helping the dwarves who were struggling. We were going well; fortune was on our side. I could see Thror, Thrain and Thorin fighting on the higher ground. Making a quick decision, I landed next to Thorin and shifted to my usual form and began fighting. It was much like our mock battle, but this time we weren't fighting each other. We fraught well together, always protecting the others back.

Then I saw him, the white Orc. He smashed away our soldiers as if they were ants and challenged King Thror. Accepting the orcs Challenge Thror went to fight him, not long after the king's disappearance the white Orc returned and held something up. Both Thorin and I stopped struggling to look at what he held; it was the kings head.

"NOOO!" Yelled Thorin

As Thror's head was thrown towards us. Thorin then charged towards the White Orc filled with rage. I looked around to see if I could fine Thrain, but he was nowhere to be seen. I went to help Thorin but realised that this was what Upir meant this was where Thorin would prove himself worthy to be a king. The battle seemed lost, and we were falling back overcome by the number of orcs. Thorin stood alone with only an oaken branch as a shield. I saw with my own eyes Thorin becoming a king he had managed to cut off the White-Orcs left arm, and with a loud cry, the White Orc fell. The Orc was then dragged back into the depth of the mines crying in anger. The soldiers rallied behind Thorin, and we charged once more.

The battle was won, but there would be no feast tonight, the losses were too significant. What was once a great nation now lay few. But here was where the remaining dwarves decided to follow Thorin, wherever he may lead them. I tried to help those who were injured but many of the wounds were too great for even me to heal and I couldn't bring back the dead. I was shattered, though these people were not my race I felt bound to them. I felt as if I had failed them as so many had fallen, I fell to my knees and wept.

That was when Thorin approached me and lay a hand on my shoulder.

"You did well Asema, many were lost, but we cannot change the outcome no matter how much we want to."

"I know young prince forgive me."

"This is your first battle it is to be expected I know you did everything you could to help us and I am in your debt. But I would like to ask you one more favour."

"Yes, Prince Thorin?"

"Do you know what happened to my father he disappeared when-when the king was killed.......... Where is my father?"

"My prince I do not know of his whereabouts, but I sense a great pain and darkness shrouding his mind. I feel that this pain will be his downfall and you will not see him again. I'm sorry."

"You lie!! My father is stronger than that! He can't just leave he can't."

"I-I'm sorry, but that is what I saw."

"Go!!"

"Sorry?"

"Leave!! I don't want to see you again!! I don't want to hear your lies!! I don't want to see you ever again!" He screamed

Thorin then advanced on me, his sword raised. Anger and sadness in his eyes. He swung at me, and I moved out of his way quickly, I looked at the other twelve dwarves that stood by him and took off in eagle form. As I flew I heard a pained scream, looking back I saw Thorin on his knees. I understood his anger, his pain. His grandfather slaughtered in battle and his father driven mad by the loss and never to be seen again, the weight of the throne now rested on his shoulders. But he had no dominion, not yet. I watched them as they began their journey, becoming toy makers, smiths and other jobs. I felt in my hear that I would see them again, but I knew the world was not ready for me.

So I found the perfect hideout, behind a waterfall was where I carved my house. Deep into the rock, I cut until I had the ideal sized home. Then I began to decorate, furnish then finally add the finishing touched. The last thing I did was create the door; I enchanted it so it would look like the rock face of the waterfall.

Whenever I travelled, usually looking for magical books or books about the world, I would wear old clothing. I never wore my golden robes knowing that the prophecy had spread far and wide and by wearing them would only make it too easy to recognise this famous wizard. Since the world was not yet ready for me, I locked myself away at home learning, casting and growing in knowledge. I hid here for the next two years, my mission was forgotten.
