Chapter 23

Joey's POV

-vlogging-

Me: "Hello there everyone, welcome to today. So yesterday was the last day of Vidcon. Today Caroline and I are heading back to LA. Nothing that exiting is going to happen today. But I

might make a smoothieanya when I get home. Lets go see what Caroline is doing."

I walked into the bathroom.

Me: "Hey Caroline, what are you doing?"

Caroline: "Standing. Breathing. The usual."

Me: "Besides that."

Caroline: "I just finished putting on some makeup and I was about to braid my hair."

Me: "You should let me braid it!"

Caroline: "You know how to braid?"

Me: "Yeah and I'm really good at it."

That's a lie. I'm actually really bad at braiding.

Caroline: "Um...ok."

Caroline took the camera while I tried to braid her hair. I tried my best, but when I was finished it was more of a big knot than a braid.

Me: "My masterpiece is complete."

Caroline: "Take a picture with my phone so I can see it."

She took her phone off of the bathroom counter and handed it to me. I took the picture and then handed it back to her.

Caroline: "What the hell is that?"

Me: "Isn't it beautiful?"

Caroline: "No, not really..."

Me: "Rude and disrespectful."

Caroline: "Please take it out."

I tried to take it out but it wasn't coming out.

Me: "It won't come out..."

Caroline: "What do you mean it won't come out?"

She started to try taking it out. She couldn't get it either.

Caroline: "You suck."

Me: "I know."

I stopped vlogging.

Caroline: "How am I supposed to get it out?"

Me: "I'll keep trying."

After 10 minutes of trying, I eventually got it out.

Caroline: "Finally. You said you could braid!"

Me: "I may or may not have been lying..."

Caroline: "It's not nice to lie, Joseph."

Me: "I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?"

Caroline: "Yes I do. But only because impossible to stay mad at you."

We kissed. When our lips broke apart, she started to braid her hair. I walked out of the bathroom and started to pack up my stuff.

-in Satsuki on the way back to LA-

Caroline's POV

I opened up the Pandora app on my iPhone and plugged it into Satsuki. Marina and the Diamonds started to play through the speakers. We sang along as we were stuck in traffic. People in the cars around us gave us weird looks. When the traffic started moving I turned the music down a bit.

Me: "So I was thinking that I might dye my hair..."

Joey: "Ooo. What do you want to do?"

I shrugged. I haven't really thought about what I want to do yet.
