Sleep had always been my best friend and today our friendship came back! Indeed, my bed couldn't let me go, but money came in between. Yawning and stretching was the first thing I did.

"Gees Sam you're so tired!" Someone said. Wait, how could someone talk to me when I live alone?! Turning my head to see who might it be, I saw Matt on my window pane!

"Matt what are you doing here?"

"Watching my friend stretching?" He smirked at me.

"That sounds interesting!" I stuck my tongue childishly at him.

"I know, but this night could have been muchmore interesting for you if thieves passed by and came in from this open window which you left open!" He said while pointing at the open window.

"What can I say accidents happen?" I smiled at him.

"Yeah right just like accidentally today you are going to be late for your job!" He told me which then automatically I looked at the clock which was pointing towards the number nine!

"Damn it! I'm late again!" I cursed as I roughly got up.

"Don't worry, I called at school and told them that you're sick," he commented as he leaned casually on my desk.

"You think that, that will save me? There is something called a doctor which they will send to check how I am feeling!" I yelled at him. I am in big trouble, I could lose my job!

"Sam, why are you so blonde?!"

"I know I am blonde idiot, that's the colour of my hair!"

"And it somehow affected your mind?" he questioned me.

"Huh?"

"Okay, let's have a quick quiz! What is my job?" He asked me.

"A doctor..."

"And what did you tell me in the start of the school year?"

"Summer passes way too quick?" I told him innocently.

"Apart from that," he shook his head.

"That I don't want to go back to work?" I tried again.

"Not even close."

"I don't know! I just woke up, I barely know that I am living right now!How could I remember what I told you in the beginning of the school year?!"

"Nice excuse!" He told me sarcastically, "You told me that the doctor of your job changed and guess what I answered you back?"

"I don't remember," I admitted. I just wanted to sleep, but I had to go to work and his questions aren't helpful.

"That I am the school doctor?!" He finally said it.

"Oh my God! You're right! So now I am covered and I am not going to lose my job!" I told him after understanding his point.

"You’re welcome by the way!" He said sarcastically.

"Thanks!" I told him while walking to the kitchen to make breakfast.

"You know what will be great, so that you won't owe me anymore?"

"What? Please note that I want to stay single!" I told him with a smirk.

"Not that! I told you that my feelings which I admitted to you were a joke remember? It was April fool's day! Anyways, it would be great if you'll go and clean my house!" He grinned at me.

"What?"

"I'll give you 3 sick days?" He grinned at me again, hoping I'll agree to his deal.

"Perfect!" I agreed. Cleaning his house is much better than going to work.
