Miss world or miss aakhirah

Where is @Sarah Kano  I need an autograph first because girl like seriously  I'm a big fan.

The things you said are true,  Amumu's feelings,  the book reviews there,  uncle nour,'s character , how she reacted  to Mukhli's death and all those beautiful reminders  make me fall in love with the book.  It has been long last I read a spritual book that touches me in ways I've never expected. I have even downloaded muslim pro thanks to you .

A mistake I  wanna point out  is how you potray Khalid and Hameed's relationship,  him hugging her and sleeping in her room  and what not I  don't  think  it is acceptable  to a northern  Nigerian  mother .She might have let them  be when they were much younger but now that they've  become adults  ain't acceptable, and the way uncles  nour's room is opposite  hers I don't  think  that is acceptable  especially in Nigeria  too.

All in all the book portrays  how a teenage Nigerian girl is battling  on being miss world or miss  aakhirah and you've  done a good job is stating the obvious and even what we think do not  exist.
A big thank  you for writing  such a womderful book filled with lesssons and I  love Dan maula too!! The measures  Hameedah,'s parents took is too extreme which in reality as you've  written will make her turn to her old ways.

Update  soon don't  leave  us hanging.

Miss World or Miss Akhira

Ya Allah! Where do I start? 🤔 First off, it is one of the most amazing spiritual novel I've ever read 🤩🤩. You really did a good job.  The book portrays the typical life of teenagers nowadays and the struggles they go through all in other to please the people in this world forgetting that Allah(SWT)  is the One you need to please.

Also the connection between Khaleed and Hamida don't you think it's a bit too much? Like yes we get it. He's her favorite cousin and all that but I don't think any typical nigerian mother would allow such things to be going on especially now that they're matured. Something might happen between them. It's not permissible to have a boy and a girl sleep in the same room even if they are siblings talkless of being cousins.

Also I think the measures her parents took is too extreme. Them ignoring her wouldn't solve a thing. She might go back to her previous ways just like you portrayed in the last chapter.

Umar is an ***hole that idiot doesn't deserve to marry Ruqqy although she's too naive to see that. Blind in love. I feel sorry for her. No matter how angry she was she shouldn't have shown their mother that picture. She should've kept it a secret since Meeda promised her that she's changed.

By the time they realise that Meeda was telling the truth, it'd be too late.

I love the flow of the story. I couldn't stop reading till I reached the last chapter. Please update soon

Lastly, please gimme Dan maula's number. I think I'm in love 😂😂

Book Review : Miss World or Miss Akhirah by @Sarahss2000

Your cover was kind of blurred. It kinda discourages a reader from going any further into the content of the book. Even though they say,  do not judge a book by its cover, wattpadians still very much do.

Your description was short and precise without giving out too much information,  but I kept seeing 'mg'  after Hameeda 's name and it got me confused cause I don't know what that means. Maybe you could put the meaning in bracket or just write it out in full.

The story began smoothly and rode on with a lot of unexpected turns and I just loved it,  but then you kept introducing more characters without giving them much of an entrance and the story felt packed with people I didn't know, like having strangers in your home. Give your other characters a more plausible entrance, a short back story. We'd like to know them more.

I commented already on your long paragraphs. It hits the snooze button immediately on a reader's view of your book.

The book could do with a little more description and try not to put too much attention on what your characters are wearing, it's a distraction from what's going on. Even though it may be a major part of the story to let us know what she's wearing,  make it short and simple. It'll explain itself and let the readers do the imagination.

Punctuations were a bit lacking where they are meant to be placed,  but I won't hold that against you since we're human after all and we make mistakes. Contacting an editor would help.... I can recommend one to you,  if you're interested.

If you could please provide a vocabulary chapter,  cause I'm not a Muslim and I couldn't flow well with some of the islamic words used in the book.

Miss World or Miss Akhirah is a very pleasant read and I just can't wait to see where it goes as your MC strikes the hearts of many with intrigue, thrill, suspense and a lot of troublesome deeds.

Beautifully written and realistic too.
I feel a lot of Muslim teens can relate to Hameeda and her squad because what you've portrayed is exactly what's happening now.
I like Uncle Nour a lot. And I think the relationship between Khalid and Hameedah is way too extra. Sleeping in the same room? They're not kids anymore and you know the Islamic stand plus her mother is an arewa mother and a Muslim too.
But all in all, I loved it. And I hope people in similar situation as Hameedah's will learn from her story.
Poor Rukayya, I hope she realizes before it's too late.
Lastly, your cover should be worked upon and I'm sure you'll do some editing when it's completed to tidy up the typos and punctuations.

Great book, great author!!

Kuku update abeg!
