Old Friend

"Shawn?" I breath.

No no no no, this can't be happening.

He stares at me for a second. "How have you been?" He comes in and sits down on my bed.

"Um good?" I say more like a question.

"That's good." He smiles. "Why are you packing all your clothes?"

"Oh I'm moving with Bella in Anaheim." I smile.

Just don't say anything about Conner. I think.

"So what's been going on? Other than Molly and Taylor having twins?"

Twins? Oh! Haha I love them.

"Oh um nothing really."

"That's cool. I was hoping we could go out somewhere. Just to catch up on things." He smiles.

"Um sure." I smile.

"Great! Come downstairs when you're ready." He says hopping up from my bed.

After he left my room I let out a long sigh.

I text Molly to come upstairs with Conner.

After I finished getting dressed Molly comes in my room with Conner on her hip.

"Thank you so much, Molly. I don't know what I would of done if he found out. I can't let him find out. It would be too much on me and I-"

"Blair, calm down. I got it all worked out. He believed us right away." She smiles.

Conner reaches out for me so I get him. 

"Okay, Conner mommy is leaving for a while I'll be back later." I kiss his head then give him to Molly.

"Have fun, Blair." She smiles. I smile and then go downstairs.

Everyone was awkwardly sitting in silence.

Hayes seemed very uncomfortable with Shawn being there.

I glance at Cameron, who was sitting next to Shawn.

"Alright, let's go." Shawn stands up.

I wave everyone bye then we leave the house.

"I hope this isn't too awkward. I've really missed you, Blair." Shawn sighs.

We decided to go eat some lunch at a small diner near the house.

I smile at his words. "I've missed you to Shawn. How was tour?"

"It was good. I had a lot of fun." He smiles then drinks some of his coke.

"That's good." I smile. "How has everyone been at the house? I didn't even know Nash had a girlfriend." He laughs.

"They've been good. Everyone's moved out tiger than me, Aaron and Cameron. Nash, Taylor and Hayes live together and Molly, Taylor and Sarah- and Conner lives in the house in front of us. Everyone else is just spread out wherever." I laugh.

"That's cool. I'm moving back to Toronto. I've decided to stay with my family a little before moving back to the states, if I even do move back here."

Family. Only if he knew.

"That would be good for you. I haven't seen you with Aaliyah in a while. How old is she now?"

"14." He smiles. (remember it's December of 2017 now)

"Wow." I laugh. "Yeah she's growing up." He smiles then looks down.

"I'm sorry about how we ended things. I was a jerk and I shouldn't have gotten so mad. I was gone for a whole month, I understand you thought I was gone. I'm really, truly sorry Blair. I shouldn't have reacted the way I did." Shawn finally says after it being quiet got a while.

"It's okay, Shawn. I understand why you were mad. I would of been too." I nod my head.

"It's just- I- I loved you and seeing you and him j-"

"Stop thinking about it." I put my hand on his.

"What happened afterwards?" He paused, "With you and him, I mean."

"Uh we dated for about 7 months but o broke things off because he missed soothing really big because he did so thin really stupid." I laugh a little and roll my eyes at the end.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's fine. I'm over it." Lie. "Have you found anybody?" I ask him.

"Nope." He pops the 'p'.

"Oh." I say.

This is so awkward.

"We should head home." He says. I nod my head. He pays for the food then we both get up.

"Bye." I smile and shut the door.

I turn away from the door and huff, running a hand through my hair. That was stressful.

"How'd it go?" Cameron asks walking to me with a very grumpy Conner. 

"It was really awkward." I laugh nervously.

"Did he ask about Conner any?"

"No. Thank god." I laugh.

"Yeah, Taylor literally shouted at him right when he walked through the door and said 'we have twins!' At first everyone was quiet but then we figured out what he was doing so we all started to tell Shawn about how him and Molly had twins." Cam laughs.

"Remind me to thank them next time I see them." I smile.

I walk to the kitchen to get Conners teething toy. His teeth are most likely hurting.

"Are you sure about moving?" Cameron frowns.

"It's hard, Cameron. It's too hard. This will be good for us. I'll make sure to keep in touch." I smile and kiss his cheek.

After I have Conner his toy he puts it in his mouth and stops whining.

Yeah, it was his teeth.

"Alright." He sighs.

"I love you." I smile and kiss his cheek again.

"I love you too, baby sis."
