1. Its not even a living thing so...
2. Peridot did use it as like a way to save what she learned and she would talk about her feelings so she was close to it
3. She cared about it a lot, and was upset when Lapis broke it (and just gonna have a Lapidot moment here: she gave something she really cared about to Lapis...^-^ )
