I'm probably just gonna end up listing my reasons if that's alright.
1. Jasper hates Rose, Pearl loves Rose
2. Jasper is with Homeworld and wants to destroy the Earth. Pearl is with the rebellion and Crystal Gems and wants to save the Earth.
3. They are literally the opposite of each other; Jasper is big, really tough, evil, mean, with the diamonds and Homeworld (*cough* corrupted and in a bubble). Pearl is really skinny, she's tough but not like Jasper, good, kind, caring, loving, is with the Crystal Gems, doesn't hate fusion (is not corrupted or in a bubble). XD
4. We have not seen them interact ONCE without hate and tension in the scene.
I think I proved my point.
