School is almost over I just have one more class to go, I get to the room early and the teacher hands be a textbook to take home and then catches me up on what we've been learning in class. The bell rings and but no one is coming inside. Do these people really not care if they're late to class? Those are demerits just being stacked up, what is it with this place geez. Suddenly a figure crashes into my back almost making me fall on my face.
"Ah sor- oh it's you again! You've been in all my classes." He smiles holding a football. Ugh so clumsy I could just throw that thing in his face.
"Oh you're already familiar with Miss Scott? That's perfect Sienna you can take the seat next to Jonah and he will help you out." I walk to my desk and take a seat.
"This is gonna be fun I get to see you everyday." I rest my cheek on my hands and turn away from him. "So do you like it here so far? I haven't really seen you around besides sitting in class." This kid really won't shut his mouth I'm going crazy. Other students finally start coming in
"Ooh we got a new girl!" A boy says,
"Yeah I've already been showing her around she so chill." Jonah lies as he wraps his arms around me and I can already feel my cheeks getting rosy and I quickly shove him off. This is really too much, I've never had anyone do this to me.
"Doesn't look like she's too fond of you Jonah." A girl laughs then walks towards me. "It's okay just ignore him he's so childish." She laughs.
"I heard that!"
"Good." She says back as I try to hold in my laughter.
Finally class is over, those 40 minutes could pass quick enough. I walk to the front of the school waiting for my driver to come and get me.
"Do you live nearby?" I jump. Ugh really again? I look in the opposite direction making sure it's obvious I don't want to talk to him, just in time my ride shows up. The driver gets out and opens my door and grabs my things and step into the car. He then shuts my door and puts the stuff in the trunk and quickly returns to the driver seat.
"Josephine and your father are waiting for you at home." He says driving off.
"Thank you." Is all I say and I look out the window.
I'm finally home I and just get out the car eager to get to my room without letting Mason open the car door for me, I walk inside and I don't even make it to the first step.
"How was your first day dear?" I hear Josephine's voice and I freeze. I missed you so much. I didn't want to be away from home it was terrible. My first day was awful, I hated it. I never want to go back. "Sienna?" My vision became blurry from my tears and quickly wipe them.
"I have some studying to do." I say walking up the stairs. I feel bad that I didn't really acknowledge Josephine but I was just too upset. I spent maybe two and a half hours in my room before Josephine walks in and she sits on my bed and I sigh knowing she wants to talk to me. I make my way to my soft bed and tightly wrap my arms around her. "I missed you so much." Trying not to let the tears fall from my face and she pulls me back.
"Oh don't cry it's all gonna be just fine." She wipes my tears, "I came to tell you to get ready your father is waiting at the dinner table." She gives me a weak smile. The last thing I want to do is eat dinner with my father. Why is he even home anyway? It's normally just Josephine and I eating together.
Things are quiet at the dinner table, no one is talking to or looking at one another. I'm so mad I can't help but take it out on the steak, I'm close to finishing my dinner when my father finally breaks the silence.
"So I've decided to let the staff go.. Including Josephine." I look up at him.
"What?" I then look to her but she has her head down. "Why are you letting them go? You can't do that!" I raise my voice.
"Before you get upset darling this was my idea, I think that this is what you and your father need. Look at you two you don't even talk to one another, I discussed this with him after dropping you off at school and it was finalized before you came home, We think it's for the best." I shoot up out of my seat.
"We?! How would he know what's best for me he's never around anyway, he doesn't care! All he cares about is his job! I can't believe this is happening! The person I care about the most is leaving me and it's your fault! Actually I would expect this from you-"
"Sienna sit down now" my father raises his voice.
"No! I will not! You don't care about me! If you did this wouldn't have happened! You haven't even bothered asking me how my first day was! Just so you know it was hell all I could think about was staying here with the staff but no that's all changed now because you sent me to that jail house and are taking away the people I love!" I slam my hand on the table making the dishes clink.
"I said that's enough Si-" he screams and I lose it. My arms sweep the dinner table sending the dishes to shatter on the floor
"No! You stop! YOU'RE THE WORST I HATE YOU!" I scream. By now tears are just rolling down my face, I run upstairs slamming my door and throwing myself on my bed to cry myself to sleep.
