Alexia's POV
"Mason !" I call out to get his attention. His head turns in my direction and he smiles."Alexia! You look amazing." He pulls me in for a hug and kisses my cheek. We talk for a while and I tell him about Edward and how frustrating everything has been. He suggests we dance. I smile. Dance. It feels like I haven't danced in forever so of course I say yes. I sway to the music and close my eyes, I miss dancing. I miss the time when everything was easy. I sigh and rest my head on Mason's shoulder. The music slowly ends and I give him a big hug before going to the bathroom. I powder my nose and fix my hair. I stare at my reflection and let out a deep breath. Alexia Marie Taylor, 17, daughter of Louis and Kate Taylor, perfect. Perfect. I wince at my thoughts and look down at my left hand. I look at the shiny diamond on my finger and think of Edward. I need to talk to Sienna about how I can call this wedding off. Sometimes I even think about running away from my life in New York and just starting over somewhere new. I decide to hide in the bathroom until the party is over.
Finally, the party ends. I find Sienna and Jonah near the exit and we all catch the elevator to the 52nd floor. Jonah goes into his room across the hall and me and Sienna enter our suite. I take a long shower, just letting the water hit my small body. After I change into an oversized t shirt and pull a brush through my wet hair, I enter the queen sized bed that will be mine for tonight. I pout when I realize my dogs aren't here with me, I miss Lila and Lola. I sigh and close my eyes.
"Goodnight Sienna." I say in the darkness.
"Goodnight Alexia."
I wake up in the middle of the night and sit up. I rub my eyes and look around. Sienna isn't in her bed.. I slide my slippers on and check if she's in the bathroom. I hear muffled voices and walk to the door. I look out into the hallway and see Sienna and Jonah on the floor.
"Sienna? Why are you out here?" Jonah cuts me off placing his finger over his lip telling me to be quiet. Looking at how close they're sitting together I'm confused as to why they shouldn't just date already. It's pretty obvious they're into each other and they actually have a choice on who they get to be with. Part of me is jealous. I wish this Edward situation would just disappear, I don't want to be married anytime soon, especially to someone I don't love.
"She's asleep." Um obviously dodo.
"Well she's gonna have to wake up she can't just sleep out here."
"I know but she was upset and she just needs a few minutes." He whispers. We wait a while and I still have no clue what time it is. Jonah carries Sienna inside of our suite. Careful not to wake her, Jonah walks slowly and steadily to her bed and lays her down. After she's tucked in he lets out a deep breath and turns to me. "What?"
"What's with you two?" I ask.
"Nothing." He walks past me.
"Yeah okay."
"Whatever." I know exactly what's going on, but I'll keep my mouth shut, for now.
"Cya"
I lay back into my bed and stare up at the ceiling.
